We were having a lounge day as I called it. A day where we could all rant or chat or calm down or whatever else we felt like. And right now? I was questioning why Amelia thought to be jealous of me.
The Galaxy knows I had oh so many reasons. The list went on and on. "Let's continue with the fact that I can go days without speaking to anyone. Okay?"
Amy laughed.
"I got kicked out of Durham because I painted my fricking ceiling the Andromeda Galaxy! The best college for astronomy in England!"
"Well that's your own fault. You should try following the rules."
"Stai Zitto!...and that leads me to my next point."
She looked at me a bit confused. "Stai Zitto... it's Italian. For shut up." She let out an 'oh' and laughed.
"Did I forget to mention the fact that I will sass you to next Tuesday? And that I when I yell you can't understand a single thing I'm saying be my accent just gets thicker? Like, it's pointless to argue with me because you wouldn't even know what I was saying!"
She nodded, and I continued. " It's either that or I actually yell at you in Italian. That and I'm stubborn to the core."
She smiled, and we heard a door open. "Another thing? I can go days without saying a word and be completely fine. And I could care less about human contact. Like, honestly, please don't-" A pair of hands covered my eyes.
Amelia stiffled a laugh, "Guess who?" I scowled and let out a sigh. "Could you get your hands off my face?" I asked.
He let out a laugh. "Can you please get your hands off my face?" Amelia did, still laughing.
Finnian sat cross legged beside us. "As I was saying, I would much rather people not mess with me."I'd finished my rant a bit ago, and we were all just laying in the floor, hot teacups in our hands. I heard someone sit up, and a pair of hands started playing with my hair.
"Finnian, what are you doing?" I turned my head around, already glaring, but it wasn't Finnian. I smiled slightly and turned back around. Amelia laughed and put my hair back down.
My smile dropped and I sat up, my hands on top of my knees. "Callisto? What's "I love you" in Italian?" Finnian asked?
"What?" Amy picked up my hair again.
"He asked how to say "I love you" in Italian..." She said. She put the last hair-tie in my brown hair and I looked at her.
"Ti voglio bene.... I love you...."
She smiled. "I gotta get going, see yah later Fin, Cal."
She waved bye and closed the door behind her.
Finnian laughed. "Cal, you just listed all the reasons she fell in love with you..."
