First of all I'd like to introduce myself.
My name is Jace and I am 15 years old.
Also I'm from Germany, so please don't hate me if I make a few mistakes. (Feel free to correct me if you want :D)And, as you already might have noticed, I am ftm transgender. Which means I am biologically female but identify as male and prefer male pronouns.
So why am I doing this?
Lately I noticed that a lot of people don't know exactly what being transgender means and which difficulties it brings.
There are many people who think trans kids/teens are just going through a confusing phase or trying to be cool and different because they want attention.
I'm not saying they are wrong. I know that there are kids, teens and also adults like that.
We're all just human. We can all be confused sometimes. We all need attention every now and then.
But being trans is not fun at all. Especially if you don't receive acceptance and respect from others.
And there are quite a lot of disrespectful transphobic people. What I am trying to say is that I want to show people what it's really like to be born in the "wrong" body. And I hope I can help readers who are going through the same problems by talking about my experiences and about how I deal with things.
Thank you for reading. ^^
(Btw yes, that little thing on the cover is me xD)
