College life is so stressful. I dont even want to go to school anymore, if its not for our business, i'd rather choose to stay at home..

School's toxic. Napakalaki ng kolehiyong pinapasukan ko pero halos lahat ng atensyon ay nasa iisang grupo. Napa-irap ako ng makarinig ng tili ng kababaihan sa di kalayuan. It means, the celebrities are already here.

I dont really care about them. I dont care about Rowan Alejandro, the tennis king. I dont care about Savior Dela Cuesta, Captain of the men's basketball team. I dont care about Geron Mallari, Star player of the soccer team. But i always have an eye for the Libero of the Men's volleyball team, Vyronne Elixir Gustav.

Inirapan ko pa ang iba ko pang narinig na tili sa tabi tabi, ngunit katulad nila ay pinagmasdan ko rin ang apat na binatang paakyat sa building ng mga Engineering students. Hindi maipagkakaila ang kakisigan ng mga ito.

Si Rowan Alejandro ang tipo ng lalaki na magugustuhan ng nerdy chicks at mga babaeng  hindi makabasag pinggan. With his eyeglass on, he still looks handsome but still has the aura of breaking someone's neck. Savior De la Cuesta, the bad guy, the mysterious guy, he's like the snobbish type of them four. He likes to shut the world by putting his earpods on, but i must admit, he's the most handsome of the four. Geron Mallari is the happy go lucky type. He likes to smile, most women loves his smile, he always greet everyone on his way with his captivating smile, he's the only one of the four who's doing it, he's the cute type of handsome. And Vyronne. I cant even describe him, he often smiles, but he's not snobbish. He greets back those who's greeting him, it's like 50% snob and 50% friendly.

"Nike, stop staring at those guys and start our proposal plan, we're running out of time" Freya, my only friend and my groupmate said and then continued on working on her laptop.

"Sorry, you know how it goes everyday"

We're at the Café inside our university, this is near the engineering student's building. Freya never complained because she knows that this is the only thing that's keeping me sane and keeping me from dropping out of school.

"Yea, i know you're always here to stare at that varsity boy. Everyday ka nandito, sa parehong oras at parehong upuan" Freya said and then rolled her eyes. Hindi nya kasi gusto yung ginagawa ko, nagmumuka na raw akong stalker. And everytime na magkukwento ako tungkol kay Eli, o sa mga kaibigan ni Eli, wala syang pakealam. She doesnt like the boys, she said they're too out of our league. And she hates those squealing girls.

"Apat na taon kanang hanggang tanaw lang Nike, dont you have any plans on making a move? Kahit iyong mag-hi ka lang sa tuwing makakasalubong mo?"

I never make a move para mapansin ako ni Elixir. Grade 12 ako noong una kong makilala si Elixir, i was eating alone at our school's open field. I dont have any friends dahil bagong transfer ako noon, and im a bit anti social kahit hanggang ngayon but Elixir sat beside me and ate his lunch silently, he never said anything while he was eating and i never said anything too. Wala namang kung anong espesyal doon, but when he was about to go, he tapped my shoulders and said "thanks, its fun eating at peace" hindi iyon doon natapos. Every lunch, sabay kami parating kumakaen doon sa spot na yon, everyday pero hindi kami nagusap. Not until the last day of our highschool life. He told me his name and he told me why he's always eating with me during lunch, tinatakasan nya raw yung mga babaeng palaging gustong sumabay sakanya kumaen, msyado raw magulo at maingay, all he wanted was to eat in peace.

Strangely, i didnt feel too lonely during those lunch. Kahit na hindi kami naguusap, nakaramdam ako ng gaan sa pakiramdam dahil mayroon akong kasamang kumaen.

"He's used to it Frey, ayoko ng dumagdag pa ako sa mga babaeng nangungulit sakanya"

I dont see myself confessing my love for him. I dont even see us being normal friends, okay na akong nakatanaw ako sa malayo. Okay na ako na pagmasdan sya at makitang masaya sya sa araw araw. Alam kong wala kaming magiging relasyon kahit friendship, Freya is right, he's too out of league.

"Nike, it's not for his benefit. Confessing is for your heart's peace. Ayaw mo ba malaman nya na apat na taon kanang patay na patay sakanya at isang linggo kang umiyak noong nalaman mo na girlfriend na nya si Saab?"

I glare at Freya for mentioning that. "Stop it Frey! Ayoko mag confess kay Elixir, okay? Im fine just staring at him from afar"

Inis parin akong nakatingin kay Freya. But her expression was shocked and then she laughed out loud. Takang taka ako sa asal nya.

"You just confess unwillingly Nichola Ken"

Nanigas ako sa kinauupuan ko ng marinig ko ang boses na iyon. Paanong hindi ko napansing nasa likod ko si Elixir?!
