Slowly drifting, quickly falling
Into two separate realities
Different but yet so similar
Each containing the horrors of life
Mind racing, heart pounding
Drowning in our seas of depression
Searching for an escape
To finally be free
Together we were infinite
Apart we are failing
Fighting our disembodied demons
Letting them swallow imperfections
Allowing this battle
To finally be over
Giving up everything
And everyone
As we fade apart in our world of pain
Seeking a destiny too far away
We see the light of friendship
Keeping us here together
