Chapter Twenty-two

Isabelle's p.o.v

Michael's finally leaving today and I'm finding it hard not to cry.
Michael decided  to keep me and the girls out of the public eye for now so we're not going to the airport to see him off.
"I'll see you in 9 months okay" Michael said taking my hand.

"That's a long time though Mikey"

"I know it is but the second I come back off tour I am coming straight here to see you and the girls! I promise!" he said putting my hair behind my ear.

"Okay Mikey" I whispered fighting back the tears.

Michael knelt down to give the girls a hug, both of them were crying their eyes out.
"I'm going to be coming back girls don't worry! I'll call your mummy and talk to you whenever I can, okay girls?" they both nodded and wrapped their arms around his neck.
"I better get going! I'll text you when I land, okay?" he smiled.

"Okay".
Michael placed his hands on my hips before kissing me gently.
I helped him put his bags into the taxi before he had to go.
"I guess it's just us three for the next 9 months" I smiled.

Michael's p.o.v

I finally got to the airport after an extremely long car journey.
The entire time we were waiting for out flight to be called I hadn't talked to anyone, I was just sat there quietly picking at my nails.

"Michael are you okay?" Calum asked sitting down next to me.

"I'm fine, why?" I asked looking at him.

"You've been so quiet. You're never like this?!"

"I kind of just feel bad for leaving Isabelle"

"Michael don't feel bad this is your job, she knew what would happen when she agreed to go out with you, and you knew what would happen when you started going out with her"

"I know but I miss her and the girls"

"Hopefully it will get easier for you. But if you keep dwelling on the fact that you're away from her it's going to make this tour go a hell of a lot slower, but if you think about the fact that the more shows you play the sooner you get to go home to her"
