STEVIE'S POINT OF VIEW

"Anak, wala ka pa bang nobya? Eh 29 ka na anak.. Wag ka naman puro trabaho lang."

Ayan nanaman mommy ko. Kinukulit nanaman ako sa girlfriend thing na yan. Eh sa wala nga kong magustuhan eh. May magagawa ba ko dun.

"Ma, I don't have time for this right now. I have 3 business appointments, and I'll be having dinner  with a potential client." I told her as I was fixing my neck tie.

"I know hijo, but look at you, you're very successful in life yet you have no one to share your accomplishments with." Sabi na nga ba't hindi titigil si mommy eh.

Tumuloy pa sya sa pagsasalita, "tumatanda na ko hijo, gusto ko din naman ng apo."

Napaface palm ako sa sinabi ng mommy ko. "Ma, may apo naman kayo ah? May dalawang anak kaya si ate."

"Oo nga, pero iba pa din yung sayo noh." paliwanag nya,

"Hahaha oo na, sige. Dadating din ako dyan. Maybe not soon pero someday din ma." I leaned close to kiss her forehead and I waved goodbye to her as I close the door of my mansion.

Mayaman kami pero hindi dahil mayaman pamilya ko. Mayaman kami dahil sakin, at an early age I made a lot of money using my intelligence. May natayo akong kumpanya which is currently at its peak right now. Yung daddy ko patay na simula nung 10yrs old pa lang ako. Kaya at an early age, kinailangan kong maging responsableng lalake dahil ako lang ang lalake sa pamilya namin.

While I was driving by the beach, I saw a beautiful lady crying.

I just don't understand how some people can look so beautiful even when they're crying. I slowed down.

Should I go to her or should I keep driving? Maybe I should be a proper gentleman and ask her what's the matter.

Parang may sariling utak ang mga paa ko at kusang bumaba ng sasakyan at naglakad papunta sa buhangin kung saan sya nakaupo.

"Miss.... Is there anything wrong?"

"I.... I... I lost s-something.." she said in between her sobs.

"What is it? Ano yung nawala mo?" Now I'm concerned. She's really crying.

"My.... m-my...great grandma's ring.. She gave it to me as a gift. Dapat kasi sa mga lalake ng pamilya namin yun pinapasa pero wala kasi akong kapatid na lalake.." tumuloy lang sya sa pag iyak.

"Hindi ba pwdeng bumili ka nalang ng bago?"

"Hindi pwde k-kasi....nagiisa lang yun. Pinasa pasa na yun sa mga generations namin. Ayokong ako ang makawala. I really feel bad." Her sobs got louder.. I look over my wrist watch. I only have 20mins left at magsstart na yung appointment ko sa office.

"Where did you lose it?" She looked down which made me realize that she lost in the sand.

"Dont tell me nalaglag mo sa buhangin?"

"H-hindi ko naman sinasadya..." umiiyak pa din sya.

Tutulong ba ko o aalis na? Aish! Ang clumsy naman kasi neto hays!!

I pulled out my phone and dialled my secretary's number. She picked up after 4 rings,

"Hello Monette, Cancel my appointments this morning, something came up and I dont know what time I'll be back."

"Sure sir. Should I reschedule your appointments for tomorrow?"

"Yes, that'd be great. Bye."

I ended the call and faced the girl,

"Okay, I'll help you."

Her face lit up and she extended her hands toward me.

"My name's Brenda, nice to meet you!!" She flashed a heavenly smile that made me zone out for a second.

I took her hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm stevie. Alright, we better start looking."

*dug dug*

*dug dug*

I can feel my heart beating fast for some unknown reason. Para akong natatarantang kinakabahan.

After 2 hours, hindi ko pa din makita yung sing sing na hinahanap namin. Eh kasi ba naman, ang laki kaya ng beach tapos isang sing sing pa yung hinahanap namin. 

"Sigurado ka bang hindi mo nalaglag sa tubig?"

"Hindi talaga.. Dito ko lang sya nalaglag eh."

"Osige dito nalang ako maghahanap ikaw sa kabi---" napahinto ako sa pagsasalita nung may nahukay akong matigas at hugis sing sing.

"Eto ba?" Napatingin agad sya sakin at ngumiti sabay tumakbo papalapit sakin at hinablot ang muka ko.

"Thats it!!!! Yan yung sing sing ko!" ang bilis pa din ng tibok ng puso ko ng bigla nya kong hinalikan.

3....

4...

5...

Then I felt her tongue slip in my mouth. What I wanna do is to push her off and run away. But instead, I stood there dumb founded.

Another 5 seconds passed when I finally responded to her kiss. I can't believe it, 

THIS IS MY FIRST KISS!!

It was like fireworks. It feels so good. But then the fact that she's a stranger came to my mind and I had to pull away.

She smiled at me evilishly and shouted,

"Now we're married and I'm pregnant!" 

"What the f&ck?!"

Nagtinginan samin yung mga tao at biglang nanigas ako sa kinatatayuan ko.

Just what the hell did I get myself in to?
