The day before

One day before the war, I went to Jade. She was laying peacefully in my bed watching Netflix. I sat next to her and said" how are you feeling?" She was still sad and said "what will I do when we fight?" I looked at her and said "either you don't fight and be gaurded by my men and Blake, or you are a Target in the fight with a high percentage of dying. All eyes will be on you. " I knew her answer and got up. I began to walk out, but stopped and said, "Ill save the best man for you to kill" then smirked and walked out. I a really good gun. But not the best.

I followed my eyes and saw he was going to his car. I looked back at the ocean and felt the cold breeze. He made his way over, 20 minutes later, and I had already dried. Even I was shocked by how good the pic was. He looked at me, and I looked at him, slowly. He leaned in, and I closed my eyes. He kissed me softly, then pushed my back onto the sand. We arrived at a beach house and he led me to a room. He handed my clothes and I went to the bathroom and changed. He was already changed when I came back. I layed next to him and he took my leg and put it on him.

Instead of doing what you would think would happen next, we just cuddled and fell asleep together. Morning came and I checked the time, and it said 6am. I got up and yelled "Oh shit! The fight is today! Let's go." He woke up like a little baby and smiled at me. "Calm down babe" he said to me. I changed, grabbed my phone, grabbed the keys, and ran out. I turned on the car and kept honking like a crazy person until he went out of the house and in the car with me, rubbing his eyes.

I was shaking because I was nervous about the fight, but also because I was starving. He grabbed my hand and calmed me down. We went through the drive through and he got me a Starbucks, and a breakfast bagel, he got himself a coffee. As we drove, we arrived at my building and I rushed in seeing everyone was still asleep.
