drove her
with my car
through the city lights,
gone up onto a hill
where stars are visible
in her eyes,
miles and miles,
and miles away,
halting on the
stop signs;
a chance to
let my lips
cover hers.
gone for the
long trail,
letting her sit
at the passenger
seat,
beside me,
just to make her
stay a little
longer,
till we run
back home.—longest trail.
