We're on the run because they figured out something about her. Maybe her magic. We're in a car, an SUV. She tried to take us to a large building to hide but it was a grave yard. We're headed south. Indiana. I will convince her to ride the train to anywhere. We were both in the back of the car and I told her she was stunning and she said I've never been called that before and she leaned in for a kiss. It was over fast when she jumped in the front seat like an acrobat. Looked back and winked. When we got to the grave she started crying because she didn't know what to do. I turned her flashlight off and we went to the car. We sat on the roof and I wiped her tears off. She wasn't as tuff as I thought. I gently put my hand on her pale face and looked into her green eyes. At first they were closed and then our eyes met. I put my other hand against her other cheek and kept the gaze. She looked scared and confused. Like she was scared I was going to do something to her. She was small now. Like a mouse. Not a porcupine. I slowly put my forehead against hers and said "Viv it's okay, I am your partner, your side kick, or your shoulder. I am here to stay. Until we reach a haven we will be partners in crime. I know I was nervous meeting you and tried to stay far away. That's because I couldn't face myself. I didn't know that I would ever find someone like you. You are soft yet invincible. I can't wait to learn more about you. Viv I am now yours, I will not let anyone hurt you." We laid on the roof and watched the stars in the cemetery's parking lot. We talked about our past. She didn't talk about much of her life before she had met me. Other than the girl she was with beforehand. She gave a really vague description. She was her first love, the first person she had ever trusted. But that trust ended when she started pressuring her. She would pressure her to use her magic for greedy reasons. She never specified what and shut down. I started to talk about how we first met and told her that I was dating a guy at the time. He eyes grew larger as if she were surprised. I continued on after gazing into her eyes for a moment. " I was in a relationship with a man named Thomas. He was a very interesting guy but was pretty full of himself. In the end I left him 10 days before the event at the apartment."
"Was I the reason you left him?"
"No, he had been seeing other women. I tried to ignore it because I didn't want to loose him. Once I met you I realized there are better people out there than him. When I say you playing with little Luke I realized that."
"Remind me to thank Luke for bringing us together" she said with a smirk.
"I definitely will." I said my feet playing with hers.
She seemed like she wanted to ask me a question but was holding it back.

The apartment it was an old Victorian style apartment with an arcade and bar on the bottom floor. I had just moved here with my old friend Amanda. We were on the 8th floor. It was October. Everything changed colors. Even the light in the apartment seemed different. Amanda seemed to know everyone here. We visited our neighbors door to door. It was getting late so we decided it was best to leave the last one for tomorrow.
