Chapter 16

Bambam:

It's been about a month since we found out Yugyeom was pregnant. I decided to quit the basketball team and get a part time job instead so I could support us.

I got a job at the music shop down the street from Yugyeom's house so I could check up on him frequently. He had given me the spare key to his house so if he didn't feel like getting up I didn't have to make him answer the door.

"Baby~! I brought food!" I called for him as I locked the door behind me. "I'm in my room just come up here." He called out.

Once I entered his room I saw him laying in bed surrounded by junk food packages, dirty clothes, plates, and cups. "Your room is a mess." I said looking around the room. "So?" He said crossing his arms. Damn mood swings.

I placed the bag of food on his bed and began cleaning his room. I put the clothes in the hamper, took the plates and cups to the kitchen to wash later, and picked up all the trash. "You really need to keep your room clean." I said somewhat sternly to get the seriousness of the situation across.

"I'll try..." he said putting his head down. "I've been kind of depressed lately" he said in a soft voice. "Why's that Love?" I asked leaning down trying to look at his face. "What if I'm not a very good dad?" It hurt me to hear him say that.

"Baby, I know that it's scary because we are so young but it will be okay. I have a job now so I'm bringing money home to buy food and support us. I'll be able to get us an apartment of our own soon. You have me and Jinyoung by your side through all of this." I said to try and make him feel better. He looked up smiling even with tear atained cheeks. "You're right." He said nodding.

"You need to stop stressing it's bad for the baby." I said as a warning. "I know." He nodded and continued to eat. I played with his hair knowing it comforted him. "We'll be fine. I promise." I said in a calm voice.

"Can you stay the night tonight?" He asked me while we were curled up under a blanket on the couch watching Finding Nemo for what feels like the 40th time since his pregnancy. "I don't have work for the next two days so yeah, I can." I said with a smile. I started to rub his back as he curled into my side tighter. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you but I have my ultrasound appointment tomorrow morning at 10:30." he siad not looking away from the TV. "I finally get to go for the first time." I said with a huge smile plastered on my face.

After the movie was over I noticed Yugyeom had began to snore. I looked over at his sleeping face. He looked so beautiful and peaceful while he slept. I was so in love with the man curled into my side. The blue light from the TV glowing on his face. His eyes fluttering every so often. I fwwlt my cheeks started to hurt from smiling. I decided to carry him up the stairs to the bedroom.

I layed him down gently. His shirt going up in the process. I could so the bump barely starting to form. He had a few stretch marks towards the bottom of his tummy. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of a little me or Yugyeom running around. I was so excited for tomorrow.
