Will You

It was a sunny Saturday morning and Hercules and Lafayette were walking along the beach. Suddenly Hercules stopped.

"What are you doing?" asked Lafayette.
Herc turned towards him and got down on his knee.

"I have been meaning to ask you something very important to me, but I understand if you are too decline ......Will you marry me?" Lafayette was speechless......... and troubled.

"Hercules i love you so much and I want to but..... I'm sorry", Lafayette then ran back to his car wishing the two were still walking along the shore fingers intertwined. But sadly you don't get everything you want in life. The problem with the marriage was that Laf's parents were homophobic and if they found out he was gay it seemed like they would disown him.What is worse was Hercules didn't know. Crying all the way home Lafayette left......

HERCULES' POV
After Laf Ran Off

Hercules sat down in the sand absolutely heart broken.

"Does he even love me anymore?" he said to himself. Tears were slowly forming in Herc's eyes while clutching the ring he tried to give to his solemate. He decided to go home and perhaps call Lafayette later.

LAFAYETTE'S POV
At Home

Lafayette wanted to get Herc over and tell him everything, but he couldn't ....... he was afraid. He was so desperate he even wanted to tell his parents everything. Yet Lafayette couldn't do that either. Instead he opened the REALLY expensive wine he was given for his birthday and drank it while watching TV. So sad, so lonely, so longing.

HERCULES' POV
At Home

Hercules headed to his room trying not to be noticed by his room mates and it didn't go well.

"Oh hey Herc! Alex and I had a wrestling match and he totally hammered me. Hey why the long face?" John asked.

"I'd rather not say" replied Herc solemnly. As he headed upstairs John and Alex started talking about cheering the guy up in hushed voices yet Hercules heard, thought they were trying to be nosy and stopped mid-step and said,

"Guys just leave it I'm sure there's a reason and if there isn't then I have an even bigger thing to worry about so if you don't mind shut up and stop trying to get information out of me it is clearly none of your business!" He said with a stern tone of voice. Little did he know his friends were only trying to help. Hercules had said it was okay to say no but he had a feeling there was something Lafayette hiding. He went up stairs and decided to make that call.
