PEGGY'S POV
On The Way To The Park
As Lafayette and I walk down the path I get butterflies in my stomach.
"He looks so handsome and acts like such a gentleman too" I think dreamlike. We walk along the lane and play twenty questions.
"I'll ask first" I say, "Ermmmm..... Oh what was like for you growing up?" His shoulders instantly drop and he cowards himself forward. I worry that I asked a sensitive question so I quickly 'change my mind'.
"Actually scrap that question, what was your favourite place in France?" I ask instead.
"It's ok," Laf says, " My childhood was very......... Horrid" He states, tearing up.
I feel terrible "I'm so sorry I asked such a personal question"
"It's fine" he says "Would you like to grab a sandwich and go home? "
I realize I was staring at him and quickly answer" yes please, I'll pay don't worry. "
LAFAYETTE'S POV
In The Park
" ughhhhhhhhhhhh I'm so poor, but if I'm gonna keep this up I have to make sacrifices " I think.
"No no let me pay, please it is only a few dollars" I insist. We pay for our sandwiches and quickly make our way home to Peggy's house .
"It was lovely meeting you, maybe we could hang out again. Here's my number. Byeee" she says happily and gives me a peck on the cheek. I go red as she closes the door. Then I walk home thinking of how the hell I'm going to tell Hercules about Peggy. Suddenly my phone rings in my pocket, the caller ID says Hercules so I pick up
ON THE PHONE
Hercules:Lafayette....... we need to talk.
