"hey guys, i have cereal, bacon, donuts, and pancakes out for you, so eat up!" meagan said nicely, pointing to the counter filled with food.

"hey meg, can you get out some syrup, please?" pete asked, him being first in line.

"sure, let me grab it and put it by the pancakes."

a few minutes later, all of us had our selected food and were stuffing our faces. we were also all jammed at one surprisingly big table. andrew, pete's little brother from earlier, was also there, sitting in between pete and me.

it was quiet at the table, except for the sounds of chewing food and drinking things, until andrew said something that was...let's say, shocking.

"hey pete, why did i hear you and mikey saying bad words last night from your room?"

"shit," mikey whispered quiet enough so that andrew couldn't hear.

"i don't remember that, were we?"

"yeah! i woke up and asked meagan what it was and she said you were having big kid alone time. what's that mean?"

"it just means we were sorting out outfits for when we go to school again and we couldn't find the right matching shoes so we got angry. sorry, dude."

"oh. okay!"

andrew then continued to eat his food as everyone burst out laughing. and he didn't even suspect that they were laughing about what he said.

meagan was also heard laughing from the kitchen, causing pete to make an "ugh" sound.

"don't worry pete, i won't tell mom and dad about you and mikey saying bad words when they get back from detroit," andrew whispered to his older brother.

"okay, thanks, little dude."

andrew nodded and contained eating again while the rest of us were still in hysterics.
