My Perspective

twinkling stars

Little stars twinkling,
Looking at each other smiling,
One of them giggling,
The other one starring,

One of the stars told the other,
"I'll be back in a while and we will be together"

After a while did the star come,
But half of it a shade darker,

"What happened to your one half, my lover?"
The star said,
"I was seen by the people on Earth, I absorbed their soulful gazes and became darker".
