you said that everyone is their own star,
drifted and scattered away in their own
galaxy.
you said that some are strayed farther
from others. only because they are scared of
getting too close to someone, both emotionally
and physically, only to get heartbroken.
some, may glisten far more brighter than
others. with hope, and ambition, they strive
to be shooting stars, with the
biggest dreams.
i, however, always believed i was just a
fading star. a star that would be
forgotten and just fade away into the black nothingness.
and then, there was you.
out of all of the stars, to me, you shined
the brightest. all you were, was
beauty to me.
you were both tough, and strong, yet you
had the most delicate and fragile heart.
what amazed me, however, was that
you chose me. you chose to love me, you
chose to care for me.
it was ironic,
you, the brightest star in the galaxy, chose
me, the fading star.
you were the one who taught me
how to love, and especially, how it felt to
be loved.
you made me feel special. you made feel
as if i was a shooting star. and only you,
were capable of doing so.
and now you're gone. and once again,
i feel as if i'm a fading star.
