~Chapter 11~

Ash's POV
"Ash..." said a females voice in the darkness, "Ashton, honey, please wake up." She said and then I heard a males voice, "Miranda, let him sleep." He said, 'Miranda? Who's Miranda?' I ask myself and then slowly open my eyes with a groan. "Lucifer! He's waking up!" Said the female with surprise in her voice as I slowly sat up and looked around before my eyes land on a beautiful woman with blonde hair and dark green eyes, 'She looks like my mom.' I think to myself and feel a pang of sadness and then look at the male and see my bright blue eyes and dark hair. Both of them are pretty pale and thin, they look old but regardless of their age they look really good. "Where am I?" I ask as my eyes adjust to the darkness and I realize we are in, my backyard? But, wasn't I just in a cave? What the hell is going on?! I shake my head in confusion and stand up. "Ashto-" I cut her off with a glare, "Don't call me that." She nods and looks slightly hurt before continuing, "Ash, we are your grandparents. And this is the dream realm." She says as if I'm supposed to understand what the hell she's saying. She must have seen my confusion because she continued, "My name is Miranda Cromwell, and this is my husband, Lucifer Cromwell. Lucifer smiles sweetly and I stared between them, "What's going on?" I ask, my voice barely a whisper. "We cannot tell you everything, that is Ayame's job. But you, Ashton Cromwell, are a very powerful witch. More powerful than any witch before you," Lucifer said, "And you must learn to control your powers." I let out a shaky laugh and look at him with a amused expression, "Me? A normal teenager have magic and be more powerful than any other before me? I don't know if you are who you claim to be but I know I'm not the person you think, my name is Ashton Sterlington, Not Ashton Cromwell, and you should lay off of the drugs." I said in slight annoyance. Lucifer looked at me and laughed lightly, "You're more stubborn than your mother!" He said while laughing and Miranda looked down, trying to hide her own laughter. I glared at the two people standing before me and look around again, "How the hell did I get here anyways?!" I ask with a demanding voice. "We told you that you're in the dream realm, Lucifer and I are your grandparents and we came to teach you to control your magic." Miranda said and held out her right hand palm up, flames rising a few inches out of her palm and she twirled her hand, the flames flying out and circling her, making her hair look like gold and eyes shine brightly. Lucifer also held out his hand, but lightning formed in his palm and his eyes sparked with it as the lightning and fire danced together in the space between the two. I looked at them with fear and interest and felt something stir deep inside me. Miranda and Lucifer closed their hands, causing the flames and lightning to fade away. I look at them with shock and surprise clear on my face, "How did you do that?!" I ask, my voice filled with surprise as they look at me with a smile. "Ashton, you can do this and so much more." Miranda said. Ashton looked down at his hands and started to imagine all the things he could do if this was true, "Teach me." He said with a quiet voice and unreadable expression. Lucifer and Miranda looked at each other and then back at Ash, "We will teach you every night, in your dreams. Starting now." Miranda snapped her fingers, and her dress turned into a bright white angelic set of armor. Ash stood up and looked at her with awe, admiring the transformation int the armor. "So where do we start?" Ash asked her and Lucifer. Lucifer thought for a second before smiling, "First we need to teach you how to access your power, it's not to difficult, but it will be a challenge," he says. Lucifer thinks for a moment before telling Ash to close his eyes, as Ash closes his eyes Lucifer tells him to focus on his core, to focus on what makes him the person he is, to focus on those he loves. As Ash breaths in and out, focusing on Angel, and his mom and Ivy he feels a powerful warm and cold energy course through his body and when he opens his eyes again hes sees Miranda and Lucifer looking at him with pride, fear and curiosity. He looks down to see the ground below him smoldering with a bright blur flame and felt electricity crackling the air around him. "Now focus that energy into your hands to try and confine and control it." Miranda says. So he does just that, he channels the energy into his body again and then to his hands where one hand is covered in blue flames and the other has electricity sparking off his fingertips. He then holds out his hands and lets the energy burst free. He opens his eyes to see flames and electricity shooting up into the indigo sky, the two elements dance around each other but in the middle they meet and create a black substance, a black flame he recognizes, a flame hes knows as hellfire. The hellfire soon spreads throughout the blue colors and its all turned black, he then throws it down in a scream of pain as it covers his arms. Miranda and Lucifer jump back in fear and use their magic together to drive the hellfire away. As it all dissipates Miranda runs over to Ash and leans beside him, "Are you okay?!" She exclaims and Lucifer looks at Ash with fear. Ash doesn't reply, he just lets the darkness take over and he wakes up with a gasp in the real world. Still in the cell and in the dim darkness so he just sits back into the corner and cries silently, wanting out and wanting to go home to his mom.

Hey guys, I know It's been a while since I updated and I'm sure that I have lost  lot of readers over this time. But I'm back now I have just been really busy with life and things have been really stressful for me. But, on a different note please please let me know if you would want me to continue this or not. I had a vision for this and I still have it, i see where this could go. So let me know if you would want me to continue this or if you would want me to just drop this project all together.
