~Chapter 8~

Ash's POV
I grab my backpack and dump it's contents on my bed 'If she won't tell me what a Moon Witch is then i'll find out on my own.' I think to myself and shove some clothes into my bag and take a look around before opening my window and putting my backpack on and reread the note on my bed "Im sorry Mom. But I have to find out. Something inside me is calling me out there. I feel it. I love you, hopefully I return." I climb out my window and gently drop to the ground, landing with a thud. I stand up and brush the dirt off my jeans and put my hood up before taking one last look at my house and beginning to walk down the sidewalk, to get to the school.

~Short Time Skip~

I arrive at the school about 30 minutes later and begin to walk in the direction of Ivy's house when I hear a quiet laugh behind me and I turn to see a shadowy figure "You make this to easy." Said a cold voice that I recognized as Domenic's. "Dom? W-what do you mean?" I ask quietly and back away as he steps forward and I see that his eyes are glowing red. "Don't try to run." He said coldly and he raised his hand "This won't hurt a bit." He says and something I can't clearly see appears in his hand and he throws it at me. I gasp and my instincts to dodge kick in and I roll to the side "W-Who are you?!" I shout and stumble backwards, falling to the ground. "My name is Domenic as you know. Switch the O and E in my name and it says Demonic. I'm a demon and I'm afraid we need you." He says darkly and I feel myself get picked up and I turn to see that one kid, Mason, looking at me sadly, "I'm sorry." He says and gets ready to hit me but a loud growl stops him and I look over to see the white dog I saw last night and I now realize its a wolf. The wolf growls and steps forward with green eyes, flashing with rage and it was about to lunge. 'I know those eyes.' I think to myself and I'm suddenly grabbed and someone is holding a knife to my neck. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Said a cold voice that I recognize as, Mr. Tucker?! "Shift. Now." He said calmly. The wolf looked away and the next thing I know Ivy's brother, Angel is standing there... naked?! Im pretty sure that if I wasn't scared and confused as hell I would be dying of embarrassment. "LET. HIM. GO!" Angel shouts loudly with a scary tone. I feel Tucker struggle to keep the knife against my neck. "No, Angel he is the only way for Max to get what he wants." Tucker said with a laugh and I took the opportunity to bite his hand, causing Tucker to scream in pain and surprise. He lets go and Angel grabs me, pulling me forward, "Run!" He says and gets to the ground, shifting back into a wolf. I stand there and look at the wolf and then at Domenic, Mason and Tucker. "BITCH!" Tucker screams at me and shifts into a big brown wolf with a black stripe down its back and Mason shifts into a smaller grey wolf while Domenic's hands start glowing red and then there is a loud growl and Tucker, I think.. lunges at Angel, pushing him to the ground and turning into a squirming pile of fur, teeth and claws while growling and snarling viciously. Then suddenly the wind speed picks up and Tuckers wolf is thrown off by the wind and Angel jumps up, his eyes glowing brightly as he looks at a tree behind Masons wolf and it tips over but Domenic points his hand at it and it bursts into black flames, burning to ashes within seconds. "ENOUGH!" Shouts a voice i've never heard and I'm grabbed once again, but this time I can't move at all. It's like I'm frozen. Angel's wolf glares at something behind me, with fur missing, wild eyes and a blood stained muzzle accompanied by blood stained teeth. "If you want something done you have to do it yourself." The man says in annoyance and I feel a sharp pain peirce my side and fall to the ground, screaming in pain. Angel leaps forward but is thrown back by an invisible force. "I don't think so." Says the man coldly and the pain stops as I slowly fade in and out of consciousness. I fall over and try to sit up but fall back down, feeling all my energy being drained. "Oh Angel. Say bye to your precious mate." He says and the last thing I see is Angel's wolf whimpering and looking frustrated as he paced back and forth trying to get to me, before the world goes black and I pass out.

Angel's POV
I see my mate fall and pass out and glare at Max 'DO SOMETHING!' Frost shouts at me 'I can't...' I say back and look at Max, not able to do anything as he picks up my mate "You should've done a better job." He says before teleporting away. I get up and turn to see that Domenic was holding Tucker and Mason. I run forward and tackle Mason to the ground. Holding him down with my paw before shifting back into my human form and grabbing him by the throat. "Tell me where Max took my mate." I say, looking at Domenic and Tucker who just laughs "Kill him. He's useless anyways." Tucker says and Domenic laughs before they both teleport away. I growl in frustration and stand up, pulling Mason with me. "Please dont kill me..." He says with a shaky voice. "I wont." I say and punch him in the face, knocking him out and not caring as he hits his head on the ground with a loud thud. "Angel?!" I hear my sister shout and see her sprinting towards me with Jackson, Jason, Charles and his mate Jordan behind her. "Max took Ash." I say with hatred and sadness in my voice. "Jackson, Jason I want both of you to take Mason back to the pack house and put him in one of the cells Jordan I want you to run ahead of them to make sure it's safe, Ivy and Charles I want you both to come with me to talk to Ash's mother." I say, looking at everyone as I give orders and they nod. Jordan takes his clothes off and hands them to me, and thats when I realize I'm still naked on the side of a street. "Thanks." I say and put them on, sighing in slight annoyance since they are a bit to small and are kinda tight. Charles and Jordan say bye and Jordan shifts into his medium sized black wolf. Looking at us before running towards the pack house. Jackson and Jason pick up Mason and walk after Jordan. "Let's go." I say to Ivy and Charles before walking to Ash's house. Thinking about what I'm going to say to his mother.

~Short Time Skip~

I stood outside of Ash's house, looking at his front door. 'You got this.' Ivy said, using our mind link. I nodded and knocked on the door, standing there nervously as the door opens, showing a young and beautiful lady that I assume is Ash's mom. "Um... hi." I said nervously, "May we come in? We must talk to you." I say with a nervous tone. Ash's mom stands there observing us for a moment before allowing us to come in. We walk in and she closes the door before crossing her arms. "My names Ang-" I'm cut off by her laugh. "I know who you are, Alpha." She says and dips her head respectively. Charles, Ivy and I look at her with surprise. I first came here. But I'm curious to know why three young wolves have come to my home at this hour." She says and I nod. "Well, Mrs. Sterlington. Your son was taken by my uncle." I say, getting right to the point and I see fear flash through her eyes. "This is all my fault..." She whispered and walked towards the stairs before going up the stairs. "Follow." She said with a distant voice and I nod. "Stay here." I whisper to Charles and he nods, I look at Ivy and motion her forward. "Mrs. Sterl-" She turned to glare at me, "Call me Ayame." She said and continued walking up the stairs before turning into the hall and going towards the room at the back of it. I look at Ayame with interest, remembering Margaret saying the lost Queens name was Ayame Cromwell. She pushes A dark brown door open and we walk into a big room with books crowding the bed and desk then book shelves lining one wall. "If you don't mind me asking, what's your connection with my son?" She asks before looking at me with bright eyes. I took a deep breath and looked at Ivy, receiving a nod from her. "Well, Ivy, my sister, is just his friend but I'm... I'm his mate." I say the last part in a whisper and she nods. "Not surprised that he is mated to a wolf. Most Moon Witches are." She whispered and Ivy and I look at her. "Wait... so he is a Moon Witch?" Ivy asks and Ayame smiles. "Not just any Moon Witch. He is the prince of the Moon Kingdom." She says. "Princem" I whisper, "Does that mean you're....." My voice trails off and Ayame stands proudly, looking me straight in the eyes. "Yes, I am Ayame Cromwell, rightful Queen of the Moon Kingdom." She says and Ivy and I stare at her in shock.
