~Chapter 1~

Angel's POV
I sat in my car in the school parking lot, waiting for the gates to open so I can start this day and get over with it. 'God I hate this place.' I say to myself 'You and me both' my wolf, Frost, said to me. I sigh and get out as the gates open and I grab my bag, slinging it over one shoulder as I walk into the school, cringing at the sound of the squeaking gate sliding open. 'Time to start my day at hell' I go to my 1st period class, English, and put my backpack down, walking out and putting in my earbuds, turning on my music smiling as "Ride" by Twenty One Pilots comes on and I walk to my normal table towards the center of the cafeteria, waiting for my friends to get here. I was doing what I do best, ignoring the world, when the most mesmerizing scent of flowers and strawberries washed over me, causing my wolf to jump in excitement 'Mate!' He said in excitement and I immediately got up to search for my mate, the girl that I was destined to spend the rest of my life with.

Ash's POV
I walked onto the campus and towards the center of the school looking for my first class, Math, my black hair cascading down the side of my face, covering one eye, as I looked around nervously, looking for the classroom as I listened to "Run" by Bring Me The Horizon when I saw a redheaded girl leaning against the wall and I slowly walked towards her. "E-excuse me?" I said quietly, cursing at myself for my stutter. The redhead looks up and at me with her piercing green eyes "Hi," She says gently "You lost?" She asks and I nod nervously. She smiles and holds out her hand "The names Ivy." She says and I shake her hand, "Ash." I say quietly and hand her my schedule which she quickly skims over "We have first period together," she said nicely and motioned for me to follow her "Just so you know, Tucker is a really nice guy, just make sure you do your homework and try not to get into to much trouble." She laughed as we walked up a flight of stairs and we go down the hall before turning into the third class down. A black haired man wearing a nice suit and glasses looks up and smiles at me "You must be our new student, Ash isn't it?" He asks and I nod, looking around the classroom nervously. "I see you already met Ivy, thank you for showing him to our class." He said with a dismissive tone and she nodded respectively before walking out of the class, leaving me alone with the teacher. He looks at my schedule and nods before handing it back at me and he points at a desk in the back corner of the class "Thats the only open seat we have at the moment so, it's all yours." He says and I nod, walking over to the desk and putting my backpack down before sitting down, popping in my earbuds and putting my music on shuffle, smiling as "Forever" by In This Moment comes on and I wait for the day to start. 'Well... here we go' I think to myself and lay my head down.
