Chapter 8

Steph's POV

Ever since I uploaded the video of my announcement that I'll be joining the boys on tour, and I have received alot of comments from their fans. Some were excited, and happy for me, while some were not that happy knowing that the boys tour manager is a girl. In just a day I gained alot of followers in my accounts, my Twitter was blowing up and I had to turn the notifications and DMs off, also on Instagram.

Waking up in my apartment again after the New Year, gonna do my last minute shopping before I prepare for the tour next week. The boys decided to go a week ahead of the day of the first show to explore the country. We got Australia to start the tour. Next a few shows in Asia, then bound to Africa plus one show in UAE which is also in Asia, I think, and half of Europe before North America, then the last leg of the tour will be back in Europe again. It's gonna be long year and I'm really really excited.

I can't wait to be in countries that I've never been to, especially in Asia and Africa. I've always wanted to go to Japan and see the culture down there. I'm also excited to be back in America, last time I was there was last year for a family vacation and of course I attended a YouTube event.

But before that, I'm gonna go back to the office to get my official I.D as your manager and to join the boys to see the first time the new stage. I sat up from bed and took a shower and did my other routines before wearing a white off the shoulder crop top, black skinny jeans and my pair of black Vans. I straightened my hair before tying it into a ponytail, curling the ends making it like into waves. I place all my usual things inside my mini black backpack, carried my vlogging camera with the gifts that I bought for the boys last Christmas and my phone before leaving the room.

I won't be bringing my car because I'll be riding in one van with the five boys which I am not very excited about. I grab a cab plugging in my earphones on the way to Syco.

"Here you go" Uncle Tim handed me my official I.D. I smiled wearing it around my neck, it has my name and picture on it. "I picked a cute photo for you" He laughs. "Yeah, thought it's required not to smile on the photo" under my name was the job, Uncle Tim place 'Tour Manager/Photographer' which I really like.

"Knock, knock" Louis appeared at the door followed by the other boys.

"Hello boys, good to see you again" I smiled hugging each of them. "And here's my late christmas gifts for you" I said giving them their gifts, Niall look so happy when I handed him his gift.

"Thank you Steph, but you don't have to" Harry said. "Well, it's also a thank you gift for accepting me" They all opened it together and all look surprise.

"This is sick" Zayn said looking at the jacket I got him. Louis immediately wore the red sweater while fixing the hood.

"Steph, this cost you alot. Thank you" Liam said while also wearing his new sweater. Louis then pulled the two strings in Liam's hoodie which made the hood cover his whole head and we all just started cracking up.

"Time to go, guys" Mark said from the door, we all exit the room and went to the back part of the building where the van is. I was walking behind the boys since I was busy with my phone.

"Hey Steph. Thanks again for the gifts" I looked up to see a smiling Harry Styles. "Let me hold that for you, so you can type properly" He took my vlogging camera from hand, I continue what I was doing on my phone and soon slide it in my pocket.

The boys let me hopped in first before them. Harry sat beside me then Niall. Louis on my back with Zayn and Liam, then Mark, Paddy and Preston at the back part of the van while Alberto is on the passenger's seat. "How long before we arrive there?" Louis ask. "About half an hour" I replied, it's a little bit far from the city, it's like a farm place.
