Chapter 13

Steph's POV

I woke up to the sound of the ringtone of Skype on my laptop. Dad was calling. I sleepily sat up straight and answered.

"Hello love" dad greeted with mom by his side. "You look tired, what's wrong?"

"I just woke up" I rubbed my eyes. "What time is it there?" I ask.

"Around 10am, the twins are at school so they can't join us today" mom replied. I smiled while tying my hair.

"How are you feeling?" Mom ask.

"I'm great. How about you guys?"

"We're good Steph, we just miss you so much" mom smiled with a bit of sadness in her eyes.

"I miss you to mom, can't wait to come home"

"So I heard you went for a swim earlier?" Dad said. I chuckled.

"Yeah, me and the boys decided to take a break from work"

"That's good, darling. Don't stress too much, always remember to take your meds and always think about your health" mom said pointing at me and I laugh while nodding my head.

The door burst open and revealed the boys. I gave them the 'are you kidding me' look.

"Oh sorry, Steph" Liam said raising his hands up alittle. Niall came over and jumped in my bed and wave to mom and dad.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Martin!"

"Hello Irish boy" dad wave back.

"Good to see you boys" mom smiled, they all gather in my bed, with Niall, Zayn and Louis on my left, and Liam with Harry on my right side. They all moved closer to the laptop.

"How are you?" Dad ask.

"We're good, Mr. Martin. We've been very serious since Stephanie started working with us" Louis replied and we all laugh.

"That's good to hear, I hope you're having a great time on tour, yeah?" Dad continued.

"Oh yes we are" Liam nodded. 

The boys talked to mom and dad for awhile while I just sat there listening to them. They would tell them about their first VMA and when they performed infront of the queen.

Soon my phone alarmed and it was a reminder, it's time for us to have dinner.

"Mom, Dad, we better go,we're going downstairs for dinner. I'll call you again soon?" I said and all the boys stood up.

"Of course honey. It was nice talking to you boys" Mom wave goodbye.

"You to, Mr. and Mrs. Martin" Zayn said.

"I love you mom, dad" I gave them a flying kiss. "I miss you, I'll see you soon"

"We love you to, Steph, can't wait for you to come home, the twins miss you so much" dad said and I nodded my head while biting my lip, stopping myself from crying.

We all wave one last time before I ended the call. I close my laptop and look at the boys. "Let's go, boys" I said putting my laptop on the bedside table.

They were all just staring at me, I look at them confusingly. "Is there something in my face?" I ask while rubbing my whole face with my hands.

Harry and Niall shook their heads before engulfing me with a hug followed by the rest.

"What is this for?"

"We know you miss your family Steph, so this is a family hug, because you know, we're family now" Niall replied. My heart just melted.
