Prologue

"Um, hi I was wondering if I could book a room for the next two weeks. Any room is fine just, um is there any room? The cheaper the better." I stuttered wrapping the large black hoddie I found closer to my body as I stared at the old woman in front of me. Shivering under her beady glare I watched her grunt and shuffle around getting to the computer. As she began to type furiously into the machine did I dare take a look around.

This place is honestly like a dump.

I scrunched up my nose at the sight of an old man sleeping on the ground covered in what I can only hope is mud. The stench slowly wafting over from the poor air conditioning proved me so dearly wrong. I would say I felt slightly sorry for the poor man but truth is I didn't. I just don't care and call me heartless but if you had been through just what I had for the past two years, you would surely understand.

My past is exactly the best and well, you could say the same for this hotel. Next to the man sat a barely standing bench, a plant that had died long ago and just a bunch of leaves and rubbish lay scattered throughout the small lobby. Wincing sadly at the poor place I turned back to the decaying like woman.

"Room 13 is free. Just down the hall. That'll be £70, girl." She growled out dangling the gold key in front of me. Sighing I adverted my eyes from her sickly white skin and withered red lips I dug into my pocket and handed her the cash.

"Here." I muttered grasping the key and walking away as she grunted going back to her solitare after storing away the money. Brushing away stray brown waves of my hair I trudged down the hall, fingers skimming each door in passing. Finally reaching my door I squeezed in the key to the lock struggling and at last with a slight push it swung inwards stiffly to the cramped room.

And yet again let me repeat, this place is a dump.

Coughing at the dust I walked into the room frowning at it. It was tiny but I guess I'll have to do. There was a plain white bed shoved up against the wall with various brown stains, a small little chest of drawers on the right, a room with where I'm guessing the shower and toilet is, a stained blue carpet and just a single bulb hung on the bare grey ceiling very much like the walls. I had to admit though for the price it was alright. Sort of.

I'm so depressed...

Tossing the key on to a small set of drawers I moved over to the bed and slouched down on it and let me tell you, it was as stiff as a board. Looking around wearily at the room I'd be living in for the meantime I choked back a sob. This was my life now. Hungry, alone and half dead.

"Why? Why me!?" I sputtered out and just like that I couldn't hold it anymore. I let the tears fall...

Now I'm guessing you're wondering what's going on here. Who is this girl and what's happened to her? Well that I can answer.

My name is Evelyn Small, I'm seventeen years old, I have green eyes, long dark brown hair, I'm about your average height and long story short I got kidnapped two years ago at the age of fifteen.

Now I take it you'll want to know exactly what happened for me to end up in the state I am so here's a little story. Oh and don't worry there's going to be more later. Suddenly I think I've just realized that may not be a good thing...

Alright so anyway what had caused all of this to happen in the first place was a bin bag. Yes you heard right, a bin bag is what caused my life to go down the drain. Funny how it was actually something so simple. Such an innocent act. You would've thought I'd seen through the facade he was playing at but sadly I didn't...

I was just a naïve fifteen year old girl back then.

Now back to the main topic at hand, my kidnapping. What had been going on during that day was basically just your ordinary lazy Saturday. I had been on the Internet listening to my iPod while my mother was busy cleaning around the house a little. She had called me so I went to the kitchen where she was. She had asked me to take the rubbish out so grumbling about it being cold out I took the rubbish out anyway.

It was meant to be done quickly. Just a small sprint out down the drive way, throw the rubbish in the bin and then another small sprint back into the house. That's how it should have been but luck just wasn't in my favour that day. It wasn't a quick trip to the bin like my mother and I thought. Nope, not one bit.

That was the day I never came back inside...

As I had just gone to head back in to the house there was this man in his pick-up truck and he was stopped at the end of my drive way. He said he was lost and since I had grown up in the area for my whole life I decided to go and help him. Just when I was about to ask him where he was going that's when I saw two other men jump out from the back of his truck. They grabbed me and before I even had the chance to scream they had tapped my mouth and I was thrown in the back seat.

What happened after that I'm not exactly sure what happened. I think they drugged me or something because all I seem to have is this black blur. There's little bits here and there. Small segments of their conversations but not enough to pick up on what they were on about. The only I seem to remember from that is thinking...

"I'm so gonna die."

Then that's when everything just went black and I had shut down from the outside world...

Hey everyone so for this story I've been thinking about making it a whole series. Probably four books in total or maybe just three. Depends on how the story goes.

Anyway I just want to know what you think and well if you think it's a good idea. That's all I really want to know. (Your thoughts of the story)

I really hope you'll all like this cause I really would like to make this a series.

Think that's a good idea? Yeah? No? Ah well I'm doing it my way. It's not like you can stop me anyway! Well unless you like kill me or something... Please don't though, I like life...maybe.

Alright I think that's enough for now. I'll let you get back to the story. Oh before I go can someone tell me how you attach a video from YouTube?
