Asgardian Love (Thor x Reader)

You woke up with a pair of strong arms wrapped around you. You fluttered your eyes open to see that you weren't sleeping on a pillow. You were sleeping on something much harder, and much more comfortable -- Thor's chest. You slid your hand up from where it was on his stomach to his chest, right next to your face, as you snuggled into his chest.

A low chuckle escaped his lips and you sat up a little to look into his eyes. He opened his eyes and they shone a gorgeous blue, just like they always did. He smiled groggily at you and you smiled back. "Good morning beautiful," Thor said, leaning forward and placing a soft kiss on your lips.

You smiled into the kiss and replied, "Good morning handsome." Suddenly there was a knock on your door. You regretfully got out of bed, as did Thor. You wrapped a blanket around you as Thor slipped on his boxers and pants. You went over to the door and opened it to reveal Tony standing there.

"I know I'm a God at hooking people up, but did you and Grant have to be so loud last night?" Tony asked, a smirk playing on his lips. Before you could answer, Thor came up behind you, wrapping his arm around your waist.

"Oh, apparently I'm not the only God in your life," Tony joked, making you laugh. "I'm sorry if we kept you up last night," you told him. "No, it's fine. I'm glad you finally had enough sense to tell her how you felt," Tony responded, talking to Thor. Thor let out a small chuckle before replying, "No one is happier than me that I finally told her."

"Alright, well I'll let you two get dressed," Tony said, walking away. You shut the door, and said, "I'm going to get in the shower." "Mm, mind if I join you?" Thor asked, placing both hands on your hips.

"I guess it wouldn't be the worst thing," you joked as you dropped the blanket. Thor took off the two articles of clothing he had just put on and the two of you then went into the shower.

~One steamy shower later~

You and Thor got out of the shower and dried off before putting on some clothes. Thor interlaced his fingers with yours as the two of you walked into the kitchen on the floor. "Want some pop tarts?" you asked Thor. His eyes lit up as he said, "You know me so well." You laughed as you began fixing the pop tarts.

While they cooked, Thor came closer to you and pulled you into a kiss. "Hey, get a room," Tony said, walking through the kitchen. He wasn't even getting something, he just did it to annoy you and Thor. You both chuckled and the pop tarts were done.

The two of you ate your pop tarts and when you were finished, Thor said, "I need to return to Asgard." "Why?" you asked, saddened by what he said. "I just need to talk to my father," Thor replied. You nodded your head and told him, "I'll go with you." "Really?" Thor questioned and you smiled. "Of course. It was my home once," you responded. "It still is. Come on, let's go," Thor told you.

He held your hand as the two of you went to a remote area. "Heimdall," Thor stated, not needing to say anything else before the Bifrost opened. Thor wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you close. "Hang on tight," Thor said with a smirk and you just laughed, holding on to him as you flushed your bodies together.

You arrived in Asgard a few moments later, and Thor interlocked your fingers with his own before the two of you began walking towards the palace. Once you got inside, you approached Odin and bowed before him as a sign of respect.

"Please, rise," Odin stated and you and Thor both rose, your hand still intertwined with his. "I see the two of you have finally admitted your love for each other," Odin stated. You blushed slightly as Thor smiled. "Father, you wanted to talk to me about something?" Thor said, still wondering what his father wanted to talk to him about.

"I wanted to offer you the throne. You have come a long way my son," Odin replied. Your face fell slightly as you realized that that meant that Thor would have to stay on Asgard. You weren't ready to leave everyone on Midgard. But, you were going to support Thor no matter what.

"I appreciate the offer, but I am going to have to decline it," Thor stated and shocked expressions passed over both Odin's and your face. "What? Thor, this is all you ever wanted," you said. "Not anymore. Now all I want is you," Thor replied. "Father, I wish to stay on Midgard with Y/N, but I will return to Asgard. I will still protect it at all costs," Thor told Odin.

"Well, if that is what you wish, then I wish you health and happiness," Odin replied. Thor smiled at his father and then began to lead you back to the Bifrost where Heimdall was waiting. "You declined the throne," Heimdall stated, already knowing.

"Sometimes there are more important things in life that power," Thor replied, kissing you softly. Heimdall chuckled at the two of you, happy for both of you. "Promise you'll both come to visit," Heimdall said. "You can count on it," you replied. Heimdall gave you a smile and small nod before opening the Bifrost, sending you both back to Midgard.

You and Thor both entered the Tower again and walked around until you found Tony. "Ah, you two are back I thought you ran away and eloped," Tony said. You smiled and Thor rolled his eyes. "So, Thor how long are you staying, buddy?" Tony asked. "Forever," Thor replied, catching Tony off guard.

"Tony if it's okay, we were wondering if Thor could move into the Tower with us," you said, turning all of your attention to Tony. "Of course he can. It's called Avengers Tower for a reason," Tony replied with a small smirk.

You hugged Tony and thanked him before dragging Thor up to your room. The two of you laid on the bed, wrapped in each other's arms. Thor played with your hair as you laid on his chest. "I meant it, you know?" Thor said suddenly.

"Meant what?" you asked. "What I said to Stark. I'm staying. I'm never leaving you again," Thor said. You smiled and pulled him into a long kiss before laying back down on his chest. "Good, because never letting you leave again," you told him. He only pulled you closer, and for the rest of eternity neither of you broke that promise.
