Only You (Hermione X OC)

Chp. 1

~Artemis~
She felt the wind blow through her dark hair as she soar through the sky on her broom stick. She weaves in an out, up and down as she picked up speed, chasing after the snitch. She reached out and grabbed it. She smirked to her self but that smirk was wiped off of her face when she felt a bludger hit the side of her body. She went flying towards the ground but she felt her body being softly put on the ground. She then herd three thuds on the ground and footsteps coming towards her.

"Ahhh, My sweet child, what were you thinking of practicing with three bludgers instead of two?" Her mom approached her.

"Heh wanted the extra practice." She said laughing but then went into a fit of coughing.

Her mom sighed as she took out her wand and kneeled down besides her. She tapped Artemis forehead with her wand and she felt immediately better.

"You need to be more careful, Artemis. You're only eleven. Are you alright my child?" Her mom said in a sweet gentle voice.

Artemis sat up and rubbed her head. She looked at her mom with those bright green eyes of hers and nodded her head. She ran her fingers through her black hair that went down to her shoulder blades.

"I'm alright now, thank you." She said as her mother responded with a smile then she pulled out a letter. "What's that?"

She chuckled. "What do you think?"

Artemis eyes widen. "No way! It finally came!" She said grabbing the letter out of her moms hands and quickly, with care, opened it up.

She read through it quickly and stood up quickly with excitement. "I finally get to go to Hogwarts! When do we go to Diagon Alley?" She asked looking at her mother who stood up.

"How about after you wash up. You're all sweating."

"That because I was exercising before I practice!" She said running towards the manner.

She heard her mom giggling as she could tell she was shaking her head at her daughter.

She burst open the door and sprinted towards the stairs as she felt her cat, Kuro, jumped onto her shoulders. Artemis smiled she felt Kuro bump her head against her cheek.

"Hi." She said as Kuro purred in response.

She ran up the stairs and into her room. Kuro jumped on her bed and situated herself comfortably on her bed.

"Silly cat." She mumbled as Kuro meowed back at her.

"Sure, whatever you say Kuro." She says as she gathers her clothes and wallet before heading towards her shower.

Once she was done, she put on regular black jeans and a black long sleeve shirt that showed how lean she was. She never really like wearing fancy clothes at all. She rather wear more comfortable clothing than what her mom wears. She quickly dried her hair and headed out to see her mom setting on a black leather recliner chair reading a magazine.

"Do we need to stop at Gringotts?" She asks as she fixes her bangs that went downwards across her forehead towards her right. Her bangs and hair had many layers in it.

Her mom put the magazine down and stood up. "No, we do not. I'll buy the robes, wand, and the books you need. If you want anything else you're-."

"Gonna have to buy with your own. Gotcha." She said with a smirked as her mom just smiled and shook her head and she walks towards the fireplace with Artemis right behind her.

They walked through Diagon Alley. There were many people walking around. Few stopped her mother to talk for a few moments before they continued shopping. She thought it was quite annoying, being stopped every five minutes!
