"Annie," wd said, placing a single hand on us sisters shoulder. "We don't have to practice if you're not feeling well."

"No," Anne insisted. "I'm fine."

"You don't look fine."

Anne gave her older brother a shove to his shoulder. "It's nothing."

Wd looked to anne uneasily. "You don't have to practice everyday. It's ok to take sick days."

"I'm not sick!" Anne almost yelled at her brother. "Now jump."

We gave Anne a final out before he leaped off the pier the we're standing on and swung through the training area spinning and flipping before making his way to the platform to wait for Anne cue.

Anne took the ropes between her hands. A part of her knew she shouldn't be doing this and all the signs were telling her not to but she craved the air and the feeling of flying. So she swallowed the bit of vomit appearing in He hav if her mouth and jumped into her brothers arms.

Anne was soaring and flying and feeling free. All of her problems were gone.

Out of now where a blood curtailing scream came from the ground. "Anne!!"

Anne's jumped. It was lettie who's she been hiding from ever since she told her. Her hands slipped and Anne fell.

She managed to catch herself at the foot of the ropes just before she hit the ground.

Anne placed herself on the sanded floor of the training arena knowing Lettie and wd would both want her to be still for a moment after her fall.

Lettie rushed towards her, as predicted. "Anne, are you alright?"

"I would be if you hadn't scared me half to death." Anne answered bitterly.

"What were you doing up there in the first place?" Lettie demanded.

"I had to. We have a show on Friday." Anne reasoned.

"Anne, you have got to be joking? You can't possibly perform in your condition."

"Condition?" Wd asked, landing gracefully in the sand.

"It's nothing, wd." Anne said.

" nothing?" Lettie asked.

" what's going on?" asked WD.

And took lettie's offered hand and stood up from her place on the ground. "Lettie's being dramatic." Anne told wd.

"I am not. Your being stupid." Lettie countered.

Anne just growled at Lettie. "WD, why don't you go pull up the ropes? Let's go again"

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Her concerned brother asked.

"Yes, I fell. It's no big deal." Anne said.

Wd hesitated forFor a second before he pulled on the ropes and swung up into the air.

"Fine." Lettie said. "I'll just have to tell Phillip then."

Anne scoffed. "He's my husband not my keeper, he can't tell me not to do trapeze."

"I want gonna tell him you were doing trapeze." Lettie said. "I was gonna tell him something else. About your condition."

Anne started to panic she didn't Lettie would tell Phillip in a heartbeat. "You wouldn't." Anne gambled.

"Oh wouldn't I?" Lettie almost laughed. "Anne, I'm only doing this for your own good."

"Lettie don't." Anne pleaded.

"If you won't listen to me then maybe you'll listen to him." Lettie stated. She began walking again.

"Fine. Just don't tell him. I have to be the one to tell him." Anne stated.

Lettie began walking towards her best friend. "Why haven't you told him yet? It's been a week since you told me."

"Like I haven't tried?" Anne scoffed. "Every time I try to I just... can't."

"Well you better." Lettie replied. "An soon."
