“Honey wake up?” I smiled looking at my mom she looked happy and better. I sat up rubbing my eyes, “How are you feeling?”
She spun giggling, “Great, my neck is healed and there isn’t even a mark, by the way nice ring.”
I smiled and said, “Come on, we don't need to be here anymore we can go to the beach or something.”
She sighed, “As much as I want to, I need to go to work.” I bit my lip, “And don't worry about Jared.”
She turned to me confused, “Jared who is that.”
What happened? Does she not even remember him? I faked a smile, “The guy I was telling you about, my friend well his parents are fine now.”
She smiled, “Oh that’s great, so when are we going home.”
I laughed jumping up grabbing my bag going down stairs, “Right now.” I saw Kristen sipping on some tea I walked to her, “Thanks for so much… also did you do something to my mom?”
She nodded taking a sip, “She was having trauma with the memories so I took them away from her, she doesn't remember him at all.”
I sighed holding out the ring, “Thanks.”
She shook her head standing up setting her tea down. She closed my fingers over the ring, “It’s yours.”
I smiled sliding it back on my hand, “Thanks, it might come in handy later.” I started toward the door after my mom.
She nodded, “Maybe… but faith?” I looked back at her, “Yes?”
She sighed, “Be careful you are important and don't let anything happen to yourself or your soul.”
I gave her a look that meant I thought she was crazy but I believed her. I went back to her hugging her tight, “Thanks, I will, I have my ring to protect me. Be careful yourself.”
She nodded grinning, “Now go by the way thanks for the flowers.”
I looked over at the pots where she planted and I saw they were bigger. I smiled, “Any time, if I find anymore I will get them.”
She waved and I climbed into the car; I drove us back. She went up to her room and got ready for work like any other day.
I checked the calendar; it was July 16 a month till school starts up again. I cleaned up the house while my mom went out to work.

It has been a week and I was studying up on my vampires, like how to tell one from humans or if there are little tests besides making them mad.
I found out that their skin is slightly harder than humans, so if I pinched a vampire they wouldn’t feel it they would only feel my warmth.
Also found out vampires are a lot colder but they aren't all white like most movies and book. Some can actually be tan, it depends if the vampire was turn or born. I got bored with this, it was after dinner so I couldn't go outside well I can’t leave.
I smiled pushing my window open and slid out of it and climbed up my roof. My mom helped me make this plat form thing so when I get bored I can come up here and watch the stars but I'm never allowed to sleep up here.
I smiled just watching the sunset and laid back watching stars slowly come out. I was looking at the big dipper when I got a sudden warm feeling in my stomach and my leg rubbed slightly against each other. It was him, I knew it was.
I smiled, “I think you are losing your touch.”
There was a dark chuckle from behind me, “I didn't make a sound how did you know I was here.”
