Chapter 6

6.

I hear jacobs alarm go off and I untangle myself out of his arms.

"jacob wake up" I tell him. I check the time and it's 6:30 am. my first class starts at 7:30.

"whaat" I hear jacob say

"I'm gonna walk to my room to change okay?" I ask. and jacob nods. I walk across the hall, than to the left and open my door. I grab my a white flowy skirt that stops right about my knees and a black top and tuck it into my skirt and put on my black sandals. I fold jacobs clothes and walk over to my mirror and put on a little bit of mascara and throw my hair out of the bun I put it in last night. it's wavy but it will do. I walk over to jacobs apartment and knock on the door.

"come in" I hear jacob say. jacob has on a grey v-neck and jeans with black vans. his hair is up and I can tell he didn't put gel in it. "you look great" jacob walks up to me and kisses me on the nose.

"you look better" I smile and wrap my arms around his neck.

"okay it's 7:00 we better get to class" jacob says. "do you wanna walk?" he asks

"I don't mind" me and jacob start walking towards Stanford. I have my bag with all my books and my cell phone in my hand. I put my phone in my bag and jacob intertwines his hand in mine. we see campus and walk up stairs. to my first class.

"see you in 2 periods beautiful" jacob hugs me, lifting me off my feet. "have a great first day, I love you. see you soon." jacob connects his lips with mine and let's go. jacobs puts both hands in mine then slowly let's them go as he walks away. I walk inside and it's my English literature class. I sit in the middle on the left side. I can see the board clearly. the boy with brown hair sits next to me and smiles.

"hi I'm grant. is this seat taken?" he asks

"no" I smiled "I'm Callie"

"hello class, I'm Mr. Heed-" and that's when my heart stopped.

"I'm know this is a dumb exercise but to become as a class, say your full name, and your hobbies and what you're majoring in."

"my names Elizabeth Alex Deem, I play..." and I drifted off. all these thoughts came into my head that, he could be my dad. the guy who walked out on me. then. it came to me.

"I'm Calliope Alexandra Heed, call me Callie please. my hobbies are writing and I am majoring in theater arts" I say

"calliope?" Mr. Heed says "can we talk outside for a minute, the bell is about to ring so everyone pack up" I walk outside and he looks me in the eyes

"I'm your father, you know?" he says

"I figured" I looked at the ground

"if you're not comfortable with this I can get you and different professor like in the sophomore professor if that's fine with you" he says

"yeah I'll just switch please, I don't need things being awkward please" I say

"okay.." my dad says and we walk inside I grab my bag and walk out before the bell rings.

it's finally 3rd period and I was walking downstairs to meet jacob. I see the theater and look around for jacob but I don't see him. I sat in the second row around the middle. I saw everyone talking to eachother before the bell rang. I kept peeking at the doorway until I saw jacob. I laid my books on the seat and ran up to jacob

"hey gorgeous" jacob pulls me into a hug.

"I missed you.." i said

"I miss you more" jacob and I walked to where my books were.

"yo jacob!" I saw Nash and cam, along with jack and jj. Nash sat next to jacob and cam sat next to nash. jack sat next to me and jj sat next to jack.

"hey look Callie-"

"don't you fucking apologize" I say to him, cutting him off.

"okay" jack threw his hands up. I wrapped my hand in jacobs and jacob grabbed on tighter.

"Singers on the left actors on the right let's go!" I hear the professor say. jacob and I ran up on stage and went to the left. "actors sit, singers you will be preforming. were picking only suitable students to make our theater arts program." I got tense, fast.

"calm down, I made it last year I'm sure you will" jacob elbows me and laughs. and I nervously giggle.

"jack gilinsky" the professor says

"shit" jack whispers. jack walked to the middle of the stage "I'll sing all of me by john legend" jack says "What would I do without your smart mouth? Drawing me in, and you kicking me out You've got my head spinning, no kidding, I can't pin you down." jack sings perfectly "What's going on in that beautiful mind I'm on your magical mystery ride And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright"

"ok jack" the professor laughs knowing he would make it.

"let's get a freshie!" I hear one of the actors say

"okay then, call...."

"Callie" I cut him off.

"okay Callie heed" he spoke, fluently. I felt my hands shake

"I-I'll sing not about angels by birdy." my voice quivers "We know full well there's just time So is it wrong to dance this line? If your heart was full of love Could you give it up?" I sing in a high pitched tone "'Cause what about, what about angels? They will come, they will go, make us special, Don't give me up don't give... me up" I sing

"stop!" the professor shouts and I am startled and step back "this is exactly what I want you guys to do! she is a freshman and she's singing in high notes. birdys song are high notes we don't have people to do this, you're on kid you got some real talent" he looks at me. and everyone claps. I go to sit down and jacob pulls me on his lap.

"told you would do great beautiful" he kisses me on the cheek quickly. once we make it through everyone and jacob went and sang one line of your body is a wonderland and the professor obviously let him in.

"okay you guys have 20 minutes left do whatever" the professor walked to his office behind the curtains.

"hey I say we let that Callie girl sing!" I hear a sophomore say.

"me?" I question

"yes you were amazing!" the boy says

"I'll sing with you." jacob pulls me towards the piano. "that's all you get today sit down" jacob laughs and picks me up bridal style. "I love you like XO You love me like XO You kill me girl XO You love me like XO Is a ll that I see I'll give you everything" jacob spins me and sings to me

"stop" i laugh, and he finally stops and kisses my forehead. he sits me down on the edge of the stage. I look out and see thousands of seats thinking I could sell out places like this maybe one day. jacob plops sit next to me and puts his arm around me.

"I love you, you know?" jacob says

"you say it a million times a day" I giggle

"that's not enough" he says as I put my head on his shoulder.

"I love you" I say. and put my hand in his mine.

"I love you too" jacob puts lays his head gently on mine.
