Chapter 11

Megan's pov

My cellphone rang and my caller id showed it was Martin.

‘’Do you know what time it is?’’ I teased smiling I missed this crazy boy.

‘’Just what the fuck is your plan and why involved my mate and not me!’’ I flinched at Scott's angry tone.

Oh shit did Martin rat me out? I knew that boy couldn’t keep a secret to save his life.

‘’Scott calm down.’’ I tried to reason with him, in a nervous tone.

And all I heard was laughing like a crazy person and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

‘’Calm down me calm down, what the fuck Megs? I mean why are you planning on coming to MY FUCKING WEDDING with another fucking dude that isn't your mate?’’ I sucked in a gulp of air and shut my eyes tightly.

‘’Just explained that to me.’’ He urges me sounding a little calmer.

‘’How you find out? I know Martin wouldn't tell you when it involves someone else's business.’’ At least I hope he wouldn’t, god I hope Martin didn't tell Mark. Even though this was Martin’s idea, I still went with it so I was to blame.

‘’Megs, we had a high school graduation party last night and Martin well let's just say my mate can't hold his liquor, and he was so drunk that he told Mark.’’ My words were stuck in my throat and I as much as I tried to speak I couldn't, what now? Do I still go through with it?

‘’He told Mark, he was sorry because you were coming with a date to our wedding, but I know there's more to that than just a date so tell me.’’ He demanded an explication.

‘’I-I-I w- I well.’’ I sigh not knowing how to explain this, what was my motive? Martin never really said he just told me to bring a date so that Mark can see what I’m to him and he is to me.

‘’Martin told me to bring a date, I've been getting his little notes from my parents and Martin said not say anything until the day of the wedding.’’ I paused for a bit. ‘’Something about making Mark suffered a bit and make him see what we are to each other.’’ I finish and the other side of the line was quiet for a while.

‘’Whoa I don't know whether to jump my sadistic hot and sexy mate oh be terrified.’’ He chuckle and I shiver at the image of Scott jumping Martin.

‘’EW mental picture, my scarred mind.’’ I exaggerated a bit.

‘’Shut up you know you a fan girl.’’ He says in an amuse voice, I smile. ‘’Ok so I’m keeping quiet about you and my mate's plan and I'll see you at the wedding, just promise me that if he does ask you to be his that you'll think about saying yes, you probably growing weaker more and more and I want you to be ok.’’ Scott said sounding concerned.

‘’I promised but I got a question, does Martin has my new number under my name? Because if he does than just anyone could find it if they go through it.’’ Man maybe Martin isn't that smart.

‘’No it's not under your name, is actually under Jackson's name and he’s our wedding planner.’’ He said chuckling.

‘’What's so funny?’’ I ask him.

‘’Our wedding planner's company name is Happily ever after, I should know I had met with them more than anyone really should and that's what I get for having a mate who want's everything perfect.’’ I laugh picturing big bad wolf Scott picking out center pieces, cake and flowers.

‘’Yeah, yeah so funny, alright I got to go wake up my hung over mate, I'll see you in a week love.’’ I said my good byes and I went back to helping my aunt making food.

I had a few friends here and one of them is gay and has a boyfriend he had agreed to come with me and play at being my date.

I was so nervous Scott said that Mark had found out and was very upset, it still felt unreal that Mark wanted me since when I left there he wanted nothing to do with me or being my mate.

And I couldn't help but wondered, what made him change I mean really change?

A few more days and I come face to face with my mate.

Mark.

Author's note, I just realize Megan's chapters are shorter than Mark's, I guess I can relate to Mark a little more than with Megan...Still thank you all who's reading and voting for this..
