•Kenzie's POV•
I just sigh thinking that i would rather be doing this stupid talent show with one of my best friends instead of her brother. Oh yea, i got partnered with Lauren's brother
*flashback*
T : Mackenzie and.... hmm... oh!
T : Johnny
I sigh once my teacher called his name.
It's not that i don't like him, it's just that i don't know how to feel when i'm around him.
Should i feel scared?
What if he beats me like my dad did?
Or maybe he is a nice guy?
Why am i thinking about this?
I was lost, trapped inside my own mind or what people would rather call it i 'zoned out' not even realizing that the school bell has rang
I was still asking my self questions until someone came and taped my shoulder making me flinch as i despise being touched
J : kenz? Hello?
K : oh, hey there john
I say quietly as he just stared at me
K : what?
J : oh nothing, it's just that the bell rang like 5 minutes ago
K : oh really? Sorry.. i didn't quite hear it
J : it's ok
After that being said i just rushed out of the classroom to my locker
Why did i rushed out? I don't even know
I was deep inside my thought once again until Lauren and Annie came
L : Kenz??
A : Hello?? you there?? *waves her hand in front of mackenzie's face*
K : hey, didn't see you there
L : *looks at annie with a confused face* Kenz is something wrong? You've been zoning out a lot lately
A : yea kenz, is there something you wanna tell us?
Annie asked confused
K : nothing, it's just that i've been losing some sleep these days
I lied
L : okay?
Lauren replied sounding more like a question
A : guys, my mom is here! See you later at laur's place
Annie said while we waved her goodbye
I'm currently still waiting for maddie, and lauren waiting for johnny when suddenly my phone rings
*phone call*
M : hey kenz, just wanna tell you i can't pick you up today
K : what? Why?
M : cause i'm driving Kaylee home since she got sick in the middle of class
K : oh, and how am i supposed to get home then? I can't walk! Our house is literally 1 hour away if i walk
M : jeez, just get a ride with Lauren or something
K : fine
*end of phonecall*

I just sigh knowing that i would have to
Get a ride from Lauren, from Johnny to be more specific since he is the one who's driving Lauren home
L : where the flip are they?!
K : oh Lauren, maddie just called she said she can't give me a ride home. Would u mind if i come with u?
L : ofcourse not, i'm sure Johnny won't mind a bit!

•Lauren's POV•
I'm waiting for my brother to pick me up since i haven't got my driver's license.
We've been waiting for so long i think i'm gonna explode right now
L : where the flip are they?!
K : oh Lauren, maddie just called she said she can't give me a ride home. Would u mind if i come with u?
L : ofcourse not, i'm sure Johnny won't mind a bit!
I say excited since i know Johnny likes Kenzie, even though he still haven't felt it yet nor would he admit it, i just know
Just after that Johnny came running and his face looks like he just got hit by a car and then got crushed by a plane.

I know, i know a little bit exaggerating but you know what i mean
K : omg John! What happened to you?
L : yea seriously what happened?
K : you look like you just got hit by a car and crushed by a plane
L : took that right out of my mind momma kenz *laugh*
J :  it was.....
