•Kenzie's POV•
My phone rang so i picked it up.

*phone call*
D : MACKENZIE! Where were you?!
K : i-i-was at a p-p-arty
D : Well, you wen't without permission. So i'm going to punish you!
K : please don't, I-i-i'm sorry
D : save it! I'm coming home tomorrow and i'm going to punish you after school
*end of phone call*

I just sat there on my bed and cried knowing that he will beat me tomorrow.
That was it, i can't take it anymore, i grabbed a knife from the kitchen and cut myself for being me.
3 for going to that party, 3 for my dad, and 3 for being me
My arm was bloody, i just rinse it with hot water, i know it hurts more but it felt good
Then i put on a sweater and cried my self to sleep

*skip to morning*
I wake up and got showered
I decided on wearing a sweater today to cover up my cuts.
And then i went to maddie's room to see that it's empty. She must have stayed at a friend's house.
How am i going to get to school?
Ugh
Then i called Lauren

*phone call*
K : hey laur, i think maddie is sleeping at her friend's house. Can you please pick me up?
L : ofcourse! You're my best friend.
K : thanks so much laur!
L : no problem, see ya
K : bye
*end of phone call*

After that i went downstairs and take an apple for breakfast.
I eat it fast and went outside waiting for Lauren and Johnny
Soon, i saw their car park in front of my house
L : hey kenz! Come on, hop in
K : thanks again laur
L : i told you it's no problem
I went inside their car and John started driving
K : btw laur, where were you at the party?! You left me!
L : yea i know, i'm sorry. And i heard what happened, now i'm really sorry.
K : it's ok
L : yea i know, cause John came and saved you didn't he?
Lauren said wiggling her eyebrows at me.
I didn't say anything, instead i put my head down to cover my blush
J : were here
Me and Lauren ran out as soon as we saw Annie at the entrance
A : kenz, look i'm sorry for leaving you at the party, i heard what happened. I feel bad now
K : it's ok annie, don't worry about it
She just smiled

*skip to lunch*
The bell rang so i just went straight for lunch room.
Annie and Lauren was still not there yet. The room was quite empty, then Nadia and her 'minions' came over
N : hey ugly
K : please, just leave me alone Nadia
N : aww what are you gonna do if i don't then?
I sigh looking down
Then Nadia slapped me and i fell to the ground. I wanted to fight back but i can't, theres to many of them
So i decided to run, with all my strength i got up and ran to the bathroom as fast as i can
I wen't inside and locked the door, i grabbed a scissor from my backpack and starts cutting myself again.
I was on the floor bleeding and crying. Then someone entered the bathroom calling my name. I unlocked my stall and saw....

•Johnny's POV•
It was lunch time again, i sigh and slowly walk over to the gang.
Then suddenly Lauren came
L : have you guys seen Mackenzie?
Lauren asked making me realize that Mackenzie was not at the lunch room
J : she was not in class for sure, i saw her running out of the classroom
A : well, we have to find her
Then Annie whispered something to Lauren making Lauren's eyes go wide
L : o my gosh you're right!
A : we need to hurry up and find her
I was confused and also worried.
J : i'll come to!
L : ok
A : we need to split! I'll go to the right hall and Lauren to the left, Johnny you go to the main hall
J : ok, meet you guys at class
L : i hope we find her
A : me too
And with that we split
I was just walking in the hallway looking for Mackenzie when i heard crying coming from the girl's bathroom
So i went inside to find out.
I know i'm a boy and i'm not even allowed to be in here but for all i know that could've been Kenzie
J : ummm... hello?
J : anybody in here?
J : kenzie?!
There she is sitting on the ground bleeding and crying inside a stall.
K : j-john?
I approached her and hugged her tight
J : kenz? Why?
She just kept crying
K : cause i'm stupid, ugly and worthless
J : no you're not, who told you that?
She didn't say anything, she then continue to cry in my shoulder
J : Kenzie, look at me
J : you're not stupid or ugly or worthless. Don't listen to them, they're just jealous cause you are the smartest, most beautiful, and worthy person i've ever met. Don't let them get into you
K : thanks
She said looking at me in the eyes and wiping her tears
J : come on i'll get to the nurse
K : no
J : but you have to kenz, you're bleeding
K : i don't wanna tell anybody about this, please
She said holding my hand
J : fine, but you have to promise me to not do it again ok?
She nods
After that we went to one of the sink and wash off her blood
K : owww
J : i'm sorry
K : it hurts
J : i know, but we have to get them cleaned
*bell rings*
J : we need to get back to class
K : ok, but john
J : yea?
K : please don't tell anyone about this
Then i kissed her forehead
J : i wouldn't. But can i tell Lauren?
K : yea, but only Lauren
J : ofcourse
She then smiled and we exit the bathroom
