🌹chapter 6🌹

•Kenzie's POV•
I woke up to the ANNOYING sound of my alarm.
Then i got up and looked at the mirror.
I sighed
My body is covered with blue marks and scars
I know that i would definitely have to wear sweaters today since what happened yesterday

*flashback*
I got home from school and went inside my house carefully hoping that my dad would forget about what he said and not be home.

But my hope was crushed once i heard the loud tv noise from the living room.
I sighed knowing what will happen next

D : mackenzie!! Come!!
K : y-y-yes dad?
D : hope you didn't forget about what i told you earlier
I closed my eyes shut as he began to punch me
Then he picked me up from the ground and threw we to the corner of the room
By that point i was crying so hard and i just wanted to scream, but i know for a fact that no one is going to hear me

If you're wondering where maddie is
Well, she decided that she will be staying at Kaylee's for to day
How great

D : what are you doing?! Get your butt up and go to your room

With that i ran inside my room and he just left the house.
Knowing him, he would probably be out until who knows when
*end of flashback*

I got ready for school.
Today i'm wearing a plain old turquoise sweater with black leggings and white converse.
Then i heard the front door open
I was scared, what if it was my dad?
I walked downstairs slowly to see maddie sitting on the couch all ready for school

K : maddie?
M : hey kenz, now lets go
K : why are you here?
M : well, i figured that my sister would need a ride to school
K : yea, thanks
M : np baby sis
I laughed at the word 'baby sis'

*skip to school*
I was just walking towards my locker when Lauren and Annie came
L : yellow kenz
A : yellow?
Annie said looking at Lauren with a 'did you really just said that' look
L : yea, its like hello but it's yellow
A : mooooving on, kenz?
K : yea?
A : please tell me you didn't cut yesterday
Annie said looking at me.
Yes, they both know about my depression and cuts but they don't know why
L : can u please just tell us why you're cutting
A : we might be able to help you
K : sorry, it's just- i can't i'm sorry
L : it's ok, tell us when you're ready
A : now lets get to class

*skip to lunch cause i hate class*
We were eating and chatting peacefully when suddenly i saw the witch and her minions approaching out table
N : Hey John
Nadia said in a VERY flirty tone
J : hey?
N : ew, what she doing here?
She said pointing at me with a disgust face
K : i'll j-just go
N : yea, shoo no one even want you here
J : Nadia stop, don't say that
N : what? Why it's true
L : no its not!
A : in fact, its all the way around
By the time i was just standing there awkwardly
L : Annie's right! We do want Kenzie to be here
A : and we don't want you! To be here!
N : ugh! Whatever!
And they left
J : kenz, don't let them get into you
K : y-y-yea thanks
L : no problemo kenzo
A : *facepalm* when will you stop choppy?
L : ne ver
We all laughed at her. Well, they were.
I was just thinking
What if she's right?
What if they don't want me here?
What if this is all just an act?
That's it i couldn't take my thoughts anymore so i ran, i ran to my usual spot, the restroom

I went inside and cried but i didn't want to cut.
Why? Cause i remembered what I promised Johnny.
Wait, why does that promise makes me stop?
I don't understand, why does he affect me now?
I was done crying when suddenly the bathroom door burst open revealing nadia and her minions
N : hey stupid, what a coincidence you're 'friends' are looking for you but i found you first
K :  just stop Nadia! Please!
I said in tears again
N : Aww what a cry baby
She said then she pulls my hair and slapped me
I'm on the ground crying again
Ugh, why can't my life just end now?
I'm ugly, stupid, fat, worthless and i just wan't to be gone

I can't cut myself cause i didn't bring any scissors

Suddenly Lauren and Annie came bursting though the door
L : OMG KENZO
A : WHAT HAPPENED?!
L : Did Nadia do anything?!
I nodded while crying.
Right now i'm in the middle of Lauren and Annie who's hugging me so tight i can't even breathe
Then we head out

A : we were so worried about you
L : everyone was
A : even Johnny
Wait, Johnny cared about me?
Why would he?
Was it because he saw me cutting yesterday?
L : kenz, i think we need to tell the teachers about nadia
A : and we also need to get you to the nurse
K : no, i'm fine and i don't wan't to tell the teachers
L : what? Why not?
K : cause it'll just get worse
A : you got a point, i mean why would her own father believe us instead of that devil?!
Yea yea, Nadia's dad is our principal.
And i hate him. Thats all i can say
After that i saw Johny running towards us

J : guys? Kenz?
K : yea
J : hey, you ok?
K : i'm fine
L : well, we will be at the lunch room
Lauren said winking while walking away with Annie
J : you sure?
K : yea..
J : you know if you wan't to tell me something i'll be  here right?
K : thank you
J : for what?
K : for helping me, and caring about me. All this time it was only Lauren and Annie who cared, not even my sister would ask how my day was.
I said almost crying
J : hey, don't cry. Just know that all the things nadia said about you is not true. And ofcourse i would care about you.

With that i hugged him and he actually hugs me back
I don't know why but i'm actually smiling because of him

I know that this one is similar to the last one but i'll try to make it a little different in the next chapters
