Zach had been looking through the box of polaroids in the Clubhouse in order to find incriminating ones of Bryce to leave as hints for Clay, he was still too scared to go after Bryce himself. He'd been snooping through them when he found one that completely shocked him. It was of you. You were with Bryce in the polaroid, your shirt was off and you looked unconscious as he hovered over you, smirking at the camera.

Zach's hands trembled as he held the polaroid, his blood boiling. You, his girlfriend, had been taken advantage of and he didn't even know whether you were aware it happened. This was the tipping point for Zach, he could no longer be a coward to Bryce, but the worst thing for him was that he was supposed to be there for you. He was your boyfriend at all, and he'd let this happen to you.

He stormed out of the Clubhouse, clutching the polaroid and headed towards the lunch hall where he knew you'd be with your brother, Alex. Zach bumped into Scott on the way who was heading towards the Clubhouse.

"Hey, Dempsey, you good?" Scott asked seeing Zach's angry expression, he'd never seen Zach this mad.

"No," Zach growled, pushing past Scott, for all he knew Scott could've known and done nothing.

"Alright, big guy," Scott muttered, wondering what had got Zach into this mood, he himself was oblivious as to what went down in the Clubhouse, he simply thought it was a place for fun.

Zach stormed into the lunch room and headed straight towards you and Alex.

"Hey, Zach," you smiled at your boyfriend, not yet catching onto the fact he was fuming, "Alex and I were just talking about y-"

"What the fuck...is this?" Zach asked, slamming the polaroid that was bent from the tight grip of his hands onto the table.

You stared at the polaroid, remembering the night that the events in it took place.

"I-uh...where did you get this?" You said, almost at a loss of words.

"The fucking Clubhouse, (Y/N), when were you going to tell me?! Why would you even go there in the first place are you stupid?" Zach yelled, letting the anger get to him.

You started to tear up and looked over at your brother who looked in shock at the polaroid. You could see him try to stand up with his cane, most likely to go beat Bryce with it.

"Alex...stop," you said through tears.

People in the lunch room had started to stare at the three of you and the scene you were causing.

"Are you fucking kidding me, (Y/N)? First Jessica and Hannah...now you? He's fucking going around the school, the people I care about...my sister! He's a fucking rapist!" Alex began to yell at the top of his voice.

You looked over at your boyfriend angrily, he'd gone about the situation completely wrong, now Alex was going to confront your rapist and most likely get hurt, but this was Zach's mess to clean up now.

"Why the fuck would you do that?" You asked through tears, getting up from the table.

Zach saw how hurt you were and realised he shouldn't have addressed the issue in such a public setting, nor in front of your brother who has a short temper.

"(Y/N)...I'm so sorry, I didn't think...I j-" Zach started to apologise.

"Just save it, Zach...just go make sure Alex doesn't get beaten to a pulp thanks to what you've done, then we can talk," you said, your voice cracking as you turned around and left the lunch hall.

After school, Zach came over to your locker to apologise again. However this time he was sporting a black eye and bust lip.

"Babe, I'm so sorry about today..." he said, leaning against the locker next to yours.

"I know you are, Zach, but you embarrassed me," you sighed.

"I just saw the photo, and what Bryce was doing to you...and I just got so angry and I don't know why I took it out on you first...I shouldn't have done that," he said sadly.

"You shouldn't have done anything at all..." you muttered.

"Are you joking?" Zach said, raising his voice a little, "I was supposed to do nothing when I found a picture of my girlfriend being raped?"

The mention of the word caused you to remember the events of that night, making you tear up again, "can we not talk about it."

"No, baby, I want to know why you didn't tell me," he said, tearing up himself.

"I didn't tell you...I didn't t-tell anyone, because I wasn't even sure it even happened okay? I only remember bits of it...and I was embarrassed," you said, now full on sobbing.

Zach pulled you into his chest, wrapping his arms around you protectively.

"And I didn't want you to t-treat me differently, like I'm broken or something," you cried into Zach's shoulder, realising how much you sounded like your brother.

"(Y/N), I am so sorry I wasn't there for you, I wish you would've told me, of course I would still treat you and love you the same, and it is not embarrassing at all," Zach murmured into your hair, letting his tears escape as well. He couldn't believe he'd allowed this to happen to you, and that he was too much of a pussy to openly confront Bryce, but that was going to change.

"We're going to get him..." Zach said, stroking your hair, "I promise, (Y/N), we're going to bring Bryce down, all of us."

"What am I supposed to do now..." you sniffled.

"You have me, babe, I will be there with you every step of the way during this, and so will Alex, so will Jess, even Justin is here to take Bryce down. He's going to get what's coming for him and we are all behind you."

Zach's reassuring words did help you feel safer, but people now knew and you were afraid of openly talking about it. You'd found it so much simpler to convince yourself it didn't happen, that you were remembering the night wrong but now...it was all so real, and you couldn't go back to hiding anymore.

"You're not alone," Zach whispered into your ear, caressing your face and then planting a gentle kiss on your lips.
