The sun baked my bare shoulders, dazzling slightly my rare view. I avoid looking directly at the sun, making sure not to be blinded by it

"Megan, are you really going to do it?" Nelly questiones me, as I'm standing on the edge of the cliff.

"Yes. Count to three and I'll jump," I scream, trying not to look down.

"One, two, three!" As the final number falls from Nelly's cherry lips, I close my eyes and take the free fall.

Feeling the wind on my olivetoned skin, which instantly turns into water, makes adreline run in my veins. The cold water is making me feel alive.

My head pops up from the water and I get into a fist of coughs. Rapidly blinking to clear my view.

"You did it." Nelly proudly screams from above, waving her hands at me.

"I know!"

I always tend to get out of my comfort zone. Taking risks makes life worthwhile. If you don't take risks, you won't have a chance to win at life.

I shake my hair wildely, water staining my sun kissed body.

"Megan! Hottie alert!" Nelly announces. She makes these alart noises everytime she witnesses someone extremely attractive. We have our own code, or should I say our own language.

Okay, I tend to do it also. We are both weird, but hey isn't that what bestfriends do? Being weird together.

I can't see the boy Nelly is pointing at well, but Nelly sure got his attention by making those noises.

Instead of acting cocky, knowing he has admirers, he turns his head back to his guitar, lustrous curls moving as he plays a song. He is sitting on the otherside of the water, looking so peaceful.

The music he currently is playing, seems unfamiliar to me, but really sad.

His fingers moves on the strings smoothly, making playing guitar easy.

I'm captivated by the sound, and almost drown when I forget to flutter my legs.

I get out from the water, shivering as the wind touched my skin. I can't stop my legs from walking towards the boy.

"Hi," I greet him, obnoxiously waiting for a reply.

He looked at me with his ink black eyelashes fluttering, showing off his glimmering tropical forest coloured eyes. His winsome, tanned face plastered with confusion.

As his appealing eyes looked in my direction, I could tell they didn't only see my body, but also, my soul.

"Hello," his husky voice weakly speaks, sounding nothing like I imagined it.

Something told me he wasn't aware of the beauty he possessed.

He keeps his intense gaze locked with mine, both of us surrounded by silence.

"What were you playing?" My sudden curiosity didn't seem to phase him, as the corners of his mouth turns into a slight half-smile.

"I've written it myself, it's called sirene of my heart," he replies. I look at the other side of the water, where Stacey gestures for me to go on. I'm so relieved that the boy next to me doesn't notice her at all.

"It was beautiful," I compliment him, and he nods, thanking me.

"D-do you want to hear more?" He blurts out, his gaze holding some sort of innocence as he focuses it on me.

"Sure," I sit beside him, not close enough for our bodies to meet, since I'm still wearing my two pieces, and being wet and all.

He doesn't sing or say anything as he plays another song, but it was enough for me to understand what he had gone through his life. I felt like his music spoke to me, revealing the sadness he was feeling.

"Wow," I continue to compliment him, making colour appear on his cheeks.

Something I quite caught on was everytime he smiled his predominantly noticeable deep dimples appeared.

I rested myself on my arms, looking at this facinating boy. I have dated a lot of boys, believe me when I tell you, but none of them couldn't possibly impress me the first I saw them.

"Thank you... Um?" He speaks, trying to get me say my name.

"Megan," I tell him.

"It's nice to meet you, Megan. I'm Daniel."

"Well Daniel, would like to go out with me sometimes?" I casually ask him, my forwardness was a surprise for some. And as for Daniel, he only kept smiling at me.

"I can't because I'm not intrested in -"
What. Wait, that explains why he is so different.

"Oh, gosh. Sorry, I didn't know. I mean, I'm not sorry, but we could hang out as friends, maybe?" I utter, cutting him off, little confused. Of course it's my luck for me to find the almost perfect boy, who is gay. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything againts gays.

He nods at me, flashing his crooked smile once again at me. We switch numbers, and If I couldn't get involve with him romantically, I bet he would make a lovely friend.
