Some promises are meant to be broken while some are kept, even in our tiny little broken hearts.
Mine was made of pair of magnificent blue eyes, a blonde hair cascading on her shoulder. Long lashes fluttering beautifully as she looked up at the blue sky, making the sun ashamed of it's existince. No beauty could ever compare to hers, little dimples appearing as she was smiling affectionately at me, making little wrinkles form in the corner of her eyes.
An pure innonce no one but her could behold. My promise for Annabelle was something I intented to keep as long as I lived. I knew the line between me and her got more and more fragile as days passed by but I didn't let it phase me.
No one held me a gunpoint and forced me to make it. I made it willingly because I knew that she was mine to keep and she still is.
No distance will ever change the fact that she had bewitched my soul and body, making me crave for her every chance I get.
I was her willing victim.
I felt Special, because I was honoured enough to receive the love that she had prepared for me and only me. So calm and heart warming.
"Daniel, will you promise to always love me, even if I'm not around?" She questioned softly and fluttered her eyes open, flicking her silky hair off of her shoulder.
"I promise to love you always. Annabelle, my need for oxygen is nothing compared for the need of you and your love,"I whispered.
"As mine for you. I love you." She smiled innocently, sending little shivers down my pale spine.
"I love you, too" I breathed, meaning every single word.
Even though those three words were never enough to describe what I felt for her.
~
'Dear Annabelle, I hope we meet again, soon.' Was written on the back of my diary that I kept with me, everywhere I went.
I promised her not to fall in love with someone else.
