Ch. 1 - Prologue

(this happens much after the story begins, counting as a prologue. The story, as it goes, will pick up from this event depending on YOUR comments)

~ Chapter 1: Prologue ~  

 ♥ Gabriella (Gabby's) POV:  ♥

The slightly puffy, pink dress ruffles silently as I make my way through the hall. This party is tiring, but it's a great one, too. I hope Hailey's having fun because after all, it is her birthday. However, I can't believe all 6 boys showed up. They have all been acting weird lately, and having literally all of them at once can't be so exciting. So here I am, my heels clacking within each step as I make my way around Hailey's house in search for a break. Just one small moment to breathe.  

"Gabby!" a voice caught up with me. I mentally groaned and then flipped my heels around to face Zayn. "Gabby.. There's something I need to say," he began. My stomach curled up in knots and a sweat slid down my face. I need water badly... "I-..."  

"There you are!" another voice interrupted. Behind Zayn, a cute, Canadian face popped out.  

"Justin.." soon, a door opening silenced my voice. Lou's figure had appeared from the doorway. He looked exhausted, as if he's been running around the huge house looking for me. But before he could speak, more male bodies began walking in. Harry and Liam waltzed into view, followed by a running Niall. Someone made a drastic recovery. But what's going on? Why are all of them suddenly here, united at the same time? Why is that?  

"Gabby, wait," Justin's eyes twinkled into mine. I had taken multiple steps backwards as all the boys crowded in front of me. I'm pretty sure soon I'll hit a wall, indicating a dead end. "Ever since we met. Ever since I was lucky enough to share that dance with you. God, nothing in the world made me happier. You're a very special girl, Gabs. I guess... All I'm trying to say is-.."  

"The way you would laugh when we imitated those actors in that movie we saw at my Grandma's," Zayn interrupted the Canadian boy. "The way we'd drink her amazing hot cocoa and you'd get a white mustache from the whipped cream," he smiled at the recollection. "Long story short, I think I-"  

"Hold on a minute. I wanna say something, too," Niall butted in. This is getting creepy. "While I sat injured in bed, it was miserable. But you'd walk in with that bright smile of yours and my day would lighten up. You literally make my life so much better. And I'm addicted to your cute giggles and... I can't hold it in anymore, Gabby, I-"  

Louis' voice rang in my ears as fast as Niall's faded. "Gabriella.. Remember when we rode the 'Screamnator'? Haha, that was fantastic, one of the best moments of my life. And then the 'AquaRide' when we got dumped to the pool and you fell on top of me. Gabby, you're damn special to me and I'm dying to tell you-"  

"-What about our day together? We went out and got pizza and chatted and got to know each other," Harry began. "There was something about your glistening eyes that made me go crazy. I never felt this way over a girl in such a short period of time but-"  

"What about when I helped you with your school assignment?" Liam interrupted. This is getting creepy. Really, really creepy. "We went to the studio to record a song together. You have a beautiful voice, too. All I could say, Gabriella, is that-"  

"I love you!" all their voices collaborated together in unison to create a melodic sound. I winced at the sound of all six boys practically pouring out their hearts to me all at once. As if they're all in a competition of who will win my heart. And just as I suspected before, my back made contact with a wall, claiming I was trapped by six adoring, hopeful faces gazing into my eyes.  

How am I supposed to choose? They're all gorgeous in their own special way. But now they ALL love me... And by choosing one, I break 5 hearts. And by choosing none, I add another heart broken boy. What am I suppose to do? I love each individually for my own little reasons. It'll break my own heart to ever break any of theirs...  

My knees are shaking and it's suddenly 10 times hotter. Each and every single face is staring at me, awaiting my response.  

But I can't do it... I can't... Pick...
