Ch. 3 - Preparations

~ Chapter 3: Preparations ~  

♥ Gabby's POV: ♥

So Hailey and I convinced my brother, Ben, to drive us to the mall. Sure, we both had our license, but we were in too much of a shock to focus on driving. Think about it.. We're going to a Hollywood party and meeting celebrities! Not just one, but multiple! We were ecstatic.. No, we were way beyond that.  

"So who are you looking forward to seeing in the party?" Hailey asked me as we walked through halls. It was now Monday and we were at school. We couldn't stop talking about the party and getting ready for it, but we didn't exactly brag to other people. We wanted the night to be perfect, and we didn't want anyone from school showing up at my house begging me to take them instead or anything like that. We just told close friends.. Like Sophia.  

"Honestly?" I answered with a question.  

"Honestly."  

"I'm really hoping to see One Direction, actually.. And Justin Bieber, too," I smiled at the thought. Those boys are just... Amazing, it'd be a dream to meet all of them.  

"Me too, and also Katy Perry, and Usher, too! OHH! What if we see Taylor Lautner? Or Adam Levine? Or-"  

"I get it!" I stopped her before the list could go on.... And on.  

"A girl can dream.." she murmured to herself, and we entered our math class.  

-- Tuesday --  

Hailey and I haven't found our perfect dress yet. So after school, we took our second attempt in looking for one.  

"I don't want mine to be white, though, I know that," Hailey randomly told me as I drove us to the mall.  

"Why's that?" I asked, my eyes glued on the road.  

"Think about it.. If you want everything to be perfect, and you spill a small amount of juice on your dress or something, you won't want it to be noticeable," she pointed out.  

"I guess that makes sense," I nodded, and we went off to Round 2 of the journey to finding a dress.  

-- Wednesday --  

We still haven't found the dress, but I guess by now you probably don't care. So instead, while at the mall, Hailey and I got pretty notebooks that were small enough to fit in a purse, but big enough for a celebrity to sign. We were keeping all the autographs in those special notebooks, and we even bought nice ball point pens JUST for the celebrities to have a nice tool to sign with that doesn't smudge the page. We practically thought of everything.

We finally found our dress! But we did it separately so that when we wore it tomorrow, it'd be a surprise. We kinda HAD to settle on a dress since today was the last day to shop for one, but we also bought various selections of chocolate to give to some people.  

Sure, they're famous and stinking rich, but I thought they'd like to be seen normal for once and just have a gift given to them that is just simple and sweet.  

"Hi mommy!" I greeted my mom when I came home.  

"Hey, honey, found a dress yet?" she asked as she slipped a piece of popcorn in her mouth. She was basically relaxing, laid out on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a movie in front of her.  

"Yes, but you can't see it. You'll all get a glimpse of it tomorrow night," I smiled, my stomach twisting in excitement just thinking about. "God, it's not even funny how pumped I am!"  

"Well don't explode of happiness, you still have school tomorrow," she reminded me.  

"It's fine.. Just a few hours of boring and then 4 hours of a complete utterly fun time!" I cheered, and took my bags along with me when I went upstairs to my room.
