I did it again I fell in love but it was all in my imagination, started investing my body and soul into you, trying to find a connection between us but you wouldn't come through,
see I was a loner until I met you, I opened up after everything I've been through,
I played your wicked games and heartless manipulations, in result you treat me as your lifeless doormat and for some reason I allowed that,
turns out that while I'm head over heels in love you were out and about craving someone new to pursue,
Tried to keep what I thought was us alive, when in reality you were willing to let us die,
Willing to leave me in the dark because you're not man enough to give me the one of many things you lack of... honesty.
alone in my room crying as the sun set,
is when the turning gears finally fell in place,
You didn't respect nor loved me,
didn't love this relationship, not one bit,
what you love was the feeling and attention, love the sense of control you had over all, love knowing I'll take you back no matter what just so you can get better at deceiving me
always seem to forget to say I love you,
failed to realize to make a relationship it takes two, in the ocean of our false love you left and I had to swim for the both of us,
The heavy breathing, loving, and touching on one another is when you finally notice me, the only time you decided to connect remains when I'm naked in between your dirty sheets,
I much rather be a loner, existing up to my true potential, so you have fun playing hopscotch with these young girls' hearts while I sit here and admire my Eternal Sunlight.
My life is too short to run miles after a little boy who would not even consider to walk one.
