Run with the Wolves

Chapter 2

Humans!!!! I froze in my spot, and thought "why are humans here!?" After a second I heard a yelp and I jumped at the sound. I turned my head and spotted a wolf on the ground with a human above him holding a long stick pointing at him. Then, I remember what the pack taught me about those human sticks. They kill our kind so, I growled and tackled the man. He was thrown to the side and groaned as I helped up my wounded brethren. He looks at me and smirks
"Well, look here boys we may have found ourselves a wild wolf-girl" he grins and stands as others surround me leaving the other fighters to huddle around one another. I make a motion to tell them to leave and not look back. I hear one if them attempt to stalk towards me and the human men. I turn to the lm and snarl in warning. They yelp quietly and run back into the cave. I felt a large pain in my head and everything went black. The last thing I felt was myself being picked up and arguing before the world disappeared and I fell into a deep sleep.

??? POV
I look at the person in my father's arms as he walks to the truck and puts her into the back seat. I walk over and ask.
"Dad, who is that?" He looks at me and answers.
"I don't know son, we only know she was found to be with wolf pack. We have reason to believe that she is one of them." I look back at the girl then back to my father.
"What will we do with her?"
"We will take her home and help her get back into society" my father spoke. I nod and get into the truck with my father. As we drive away I see a few of the last remaining wolves run after the vehicle almost frantic before turning back once at the edge of the forest. They just stand there and watch us disappear over the hill and back to the city.
