Oh-My-GOSH!!! This whole chapter was so freaking intense!!!! I mean I could use a million !!!!! if I could! Oh gosh, okay rambling thoughts here, and they are all about how awesome it was. . . . I love, love, love Travis and every one of his maps. The whole adding emotions/bringing character to life: NAILED IT! I hope you can tell HOW MUCH I loved this chapter. Ok, I am moving on to the next one. Still reeling and like shaking and my heart is beating fast, but I'm forcing myself away...*I loved it!* Mind you, I think I have to go back and re-read it because I inhaled it while freaking out with them. -DistantDreamer

Gasping: The Last Remnant of Humanity
Forget “Save the Planet.” The planet will survive, just not humanity. In their last days, a person’s greatest chance of survival is to live in one of the large, protected Metropolises, where the air is scrubbed. But space is limited, food is getting scarce and people are turning vicious.
In effort to save humanity- not individuals but the species as a whole- the One World Government has cloned the most intelligent, strongest, most capable individuals of their generation, raised them in an oxygen rich environment and taught them to survive. Now, three candidates face the final challenge: the training. If they can survive the elimination process, then they will be among those transported on The Ark to a habitable moon where humanity will try again.
If only they can get there.
