Star labs had down something so horrific, she honestly wanted to punch all of those freaking idiots down a sewer and let them become the stars of the next 'IT' movie.
They had tested a new series of four drugs, on kids her very age. An Air drug, Fire drug, Ice drug, and Water drug, binding them to the very element itself. The kids basically lost there mind, having so much control of that certain element that they basically became that element itself.
Forty kids. That's how many.
They were sent out to contain all of them in shipping containment's that Zatanna was to spend her time constructing while they were capturing the teens.
Aqualad was to take on as many of the Water children as possible, seeing as he was the one strongest in that section, and Megan was to help out with the Air, and to stay away from any Fire bonded kids. Wally would help with the Fire along with Robin, and Artemis was pretty much instructed to do anything she could with anyone she could help.
They had their assignments. Now they had to do them, no kids were to be harmed unless necessarily. Batman had only a handful of antidote syringes made so far, enough to give each teammate two.
They sat in the bioship nervously, and Artemis was left to only the tip of one of her arrows to disease her boredom.
"So, Elements, eh?" Wally started.
No answer. "It's kinda like Avatar The Last Airbender, right? I mean, I would be Aang over all, cause y'know, I'm the coolest and he has all the powers, right?"
"Baywatch?"
"Yeah?"
"Shut up."
"Rude."
"We're here." Megan announced.
Sure enough, they were. A bunch of hiss with eyes glowing different colors were attacking the Star Labs facilities. Everyone took a deep breath as they saw a kid shoot fire from the palms of his hands.
"Alright, guys, Channel your inner Aang."
Megan created a hole in the floor, and Aqualad jumped out with Superboy as Megan and Zatanna flew through the opening. Wally sped out while Robin and Artemis zipped down.
The action started, and she ran into battle. The kids eventually noticed she was there.
No one would admit, but she was basically useless against these super powered kids, Forty of them. Wally and his speed, Aqualad his abilities, Megan and Superboy was self explanatory, Zatanna and her magic, and Robin was basically a superninja who she knew could handle himself.
She couldn't use arrows, cause you couldn't harm the kids. She was told to bring them anyway in case of emergency, and she did ; a quiver full of arrows. But that's not the only thing her quiver contained.
Why not fight an element with another one?
She'd stolen the ice bombs they used to stop huge crowds in battle, and technically that's what they were doing.
Her fingers grasped the cold metal of the small disc as she ran up the stairs of the fire escape. She'd get to the roof, and then let her aim be put to use.
The ice discs when detonated covered an area of at least ten feet, And thankful for her, all of them were in clusters.
She took out an arrow and her bow.
Then she threw, right at a cluster of kids attacking with fire. She quickly drew back an arrow and released, hitting the disc, allowing the bomb to go off.
