Underneath the Stars (Phan)

Dan Howell waits impatiently, looking toward the door. He hears knocking and runs to answer. Standing there is another young man, Phil Lester. The black haired, blue eyed boy smiles.

"Hey Dan. What are we doing tonight?"

"We're going to a special place," Dan says with a smile of his own.

Phil gives him a confused look. "Where to?" he asks.

Dan steps out of the house and closes the door before taking Phil's hand in his own.

"I'll show you."

Dan and Phil run through a wooded area, Dan leading the way. Dan stops and they see a beautiful meadow full of dandelions spread out before them. Phil's eyes widen in wonder and Dan grins at him.

"This is beautiful," Phil says.

"I knew you'd like it. This is my secret place."

Dan walks to the edge of the hill before laying down on the grass. He motions for Phil to join him and the other young man does so. The sky is blanketed with stars and yet, there is still the faintest hint of color on the horizon.

Neither looks at the other for a while, taken in by the beauty of the area around them, and caught up in their own fantasies. The warm air swirls around them, tickling their skin. Dan slowly turns to look at his companion, his cheeks flushed. He reaches a hand out and lays it in Phil's.

Phil turns to Dan and sees him smiling nervously. Phil blushes as well and turns his body toward Dan. Phil moves next, wrapping his other arm around Dan and pulling him closer. Dan takes his chance and presses his lips against Phil's.

Phil reciprocates, and they lose track of time as they lose themselves in each other and the passion they have for each other.

Dan lays in his bed, remembering that place and that night. He and Phil are together now, but they haven't gone back to their secret place in a while. Dan hopes that will change soon.
