The artifact

Yuki was fiddling with the green gem artifact trying to figure about how to fix it because it somehow broke when they landed in this universe. Zero walked outside seeing Yuki with a frustrated look on her face and he hated seeing her with such a down look on her face so he sat next to her on the bench.

Yuki didn't even look up because she knew it was Zero who was next to her and when he sat next to her he realized what she was doing. Zero lifted Yuki's face to him then spoke:

" Yuki what are you doing?"

" Oh hey Zero, I'm trying to fix this but I don't know if I can by myself"

" it's okay been a few days are you home sick Yuki?"

" it's not that, I don't want us to be a burden into these vampires who are kind enough to let us stay here but we need to get back home eventually"

" I know Yuki but may be there's a reason that we are here and it isn't so bad here. At first I thought it would be but after being here I realized we have to be more opened about ourselves"

" I understand but I still worry about every one back home and are we being missed at all"

" I'm sure Headmaster already has a search party looking for us but just give this place more of chance and even if we are stuck here would that be such a bad thing"

" your right I'm sorry I'm normally telling you to try now your giving me the same advice and even if we can't go home at least we have friends here"

Zero and Yuki hug on the bench before they go there separate ways with Yuki going inside . Zero goes to the back yard looking around until he spots some white roses and on closer expectation they look well taken care of. He turns to leave but runs into Subaru Who runs his head because they both fell over. Zero freezes staring at him then mumbles a sorry then walks away while Subaru stand back up then waters his roses. Subaru thinks Zero might be afraid of him or something because he didn't even look at him when he talked.
