Karl was dealing with politics in Tokyo city which distracted him from noticing a powerful presence coming from the mansion he gave to his sons. He knew that they were just his experiments and never treated them like children because vampires in this reality are cruel. They don't think about anything but power and what they could do for the future while also making humans there lesser.
He sat in his chair trying to figure out what this presence was but realized it was someone who was possibly older then himself. What would the older vampire be doing in the place and why would he be with his sons. He was thinking about it over and over then realized may be it was would time to visit his sons soon. However before that he should send his other sons the Mukami brothers to retrieve the bride for his Adam Apple plan. He was still curious about the lesser presences who also were in the mansion with the more powerful one but right now he didn't have time to contemplate that.
Karl called the Mukamis and got them enrolled into the same school as his sons by blood. He wanted to see how this played out before he showed up again but this was more then opportunity to test his boys. He knew they normally just drain any bride that showed up at the mansion within a matter of months but Was Yui Special to them in some way. He got up from his chair changing back into his Tougo Sakamaki form then went back into town to deal with his political status.
