As they rushed out of the tent, Colby realized it was almost midnight now. His eyes widened, a bit surprised. It wasn't much near this time when he received his victim, Kat. It was only an hour or two before when everyone got their victims!

Sam gripped Colby's hand a bit tighter and ran a bit faster, by tents and rocks. Colby asked while they were running, "What are we here to see, anyways?" To which Sam replied with a chuckle, "A meteor shower! I haven't seen one in forever! The sky is gonna be so pretty, Colby!"

Colby couldn't help but smile a bit. He had never seen a meteor shower. But was it as beautiful as Sam had described it? Hell, it was just a bunch of flaming rocks hurling through space! Nothing wonderful.

After a bit of silence, they reached the top of a grassy cliff. Beneath them was a forest, the trees seeming black in the night sky. And the sky.. oh the sky was wonderful.

The dark blue sky was scattered with hundreds of beautiful twinkling white stars. At some parts, the deep ocean blue color was a bit lighter, although it wasn't very obvious at first glance. There wasn't a single cloud to be seen.

Sam sat at the edge of the cliff, slowly putting his legs out so that they dangled over the edge. Colby looked at him, a bit worried Sam would fall. He slowly sat down next to the blonde-haired boy, crossing his legs like how he usually sat.

"Man.. the sky is really beautiful." Colby turned to look at Sam,  a small smile on his face. Sam looked back and chuckled, "Yeah. Just wait. It gets better."

Colby returned his gaze back to the sky, where he saw a quick glimpse of a yellow object with a shimmering orange tail soaring through the sky. His eyes lit up. A meteor!

One by one, long beautiful orange and yellow meteors flashed through the sky. After a moment, it seemed like hundreds roaring past. Accompanied by the gentle hum of animals, it was like a perfect movie scene.

Colby thought to himself, 'I could make a move..' But he was afraid Sam would reject him. After a few moments, Colby slowly laid his head on Sam's shoulder, watching the meteors go by. Sam gently laid his head on Colby's, smiling.
