Dreamland (ChenSung)

On his dream, Chenle met a boy so perfect. He was so mesmerized and he was never able to forget him. Little did he knows that the boy he met was Jisung, his sleep fairy, and that place on his dream was Jisung's world.
Chenle has always been so depressed. Every night, he sleeps with tears. But even with those tears, Jisung still finds him precious and adorable. Almost every single night, he sees how Chenle is struggling with his nightmares. He just couldn't stand to see Chenle hurting like that. He was so precious to him. On that night, Chenle was about to enter another nightmare, Jisung wasn't able to hold back himself anymore. Although he knows that it's a sin, he took Chenle on his world. For once, he wanted Chenle to feel perfectly happy.
"Where am I?" Chenle's eyes widened as soon as he saw his surroundings. He has never been in such a beautiful place in his life. It was like a paradise and It just seems so perfect for him. Soft grasses were all around, making him feel like he's floating when he walks. The river of purity flows gently, giving a sound so soothing to his ears. Trees were evergreen with every leaf swaying with the wind, having every kind of fruits he loves and colorful birds on their branches. There, under one of the trees sits Jisung, outshining every creature around him. He has been watching Chenle and waiting for his eyes to lay on him.
Chenle started walking around, enjoying the heaven-like place he's in and Jisung is following him from behind. Minutes had passed until Chenle felt a presence behind him. He slowly turned around and and by the time his eyes met Jisung, he felt so blessed seeing a creature as beautiful as him. "Hi! This is Jisung" It's been almost a minute before Chenle was able to go back to his thoughts. He was just so astonished. "I-I am Chenle" He smiled back as Jisung gave him a sweet smile. "Seems like you're wandering all alone, would you mind if I join you?" Jisung asked gently, not breaking his smile. "No, not at all. Of course you can join me" They started wandering together, enjoying every creature they pass on. "Wow! Those fruits were so lovely!" Without even saying a word, Jisung went straigtly to the tree which fruits are lovely for Chenle and picked one of its fruits. He peeled it gently and gave it to Chenle. "Here, taste it". Chenle then took a bite but to his shock, he couldn't taste the fruit. "I-It's tasteless" he honestly commented. Jisung sure had tasted that fruit and he found it so sweet and delicious, he finds it weird how it's tasteless for Chenle.
The next thing they found is a waterfalls where the river a while ago is coming from. Jisung went excitedly to the water. "Come here with me" He said, but Chenle is hesitant. "U-uhm, hehehe, I can't swim" He answered shyly. "Just trust me" Jisung said, having an encouraging look. Before Chenle could even think twice, Jisung pulled him into the water. He never knew how to swim, but that time, he even can breath underwater. The water was warm and it matches well with thhe weather. It is so pure and soft, enough to make Chenle feel relaxed after a long time of being tired of life. After enjoying the water, they sat under a tree and rested. "Jisung, thank you for staying with me today, I am really happy today. In my whole life I never felt this happy. Life is just so rude to me and so does people. Even my so called family and friends never made me feel this way" Chenle's tears are forming. Jisung wrapped his right arm on Chenle's shoulders and Chenle leaned his head on Jisung's shoulder. Chenle never felt so comfortable. He barely know Jisung but he feels safe when he's with him. Jisung is just so pure, gentle, sweet, caring, and protective to Chenle that Chenle even feels like on that very short period of time they've been together, he's already starting to fall for him. Jisung, on the other hand, has always liked Chenle. He sure have watched lots of people sleeping but he swears that Chenle is the most precious of them all. But what did he did right now is the last thing he could do for Chenle. He knew he broke the rule which is he's not allowed to take a person on their land and if he'll make it longer it could harm Chenle. Jisung is still enjoying the moment but then he saw on his palm, the sun rising on the real world. Meaning, it's already time for Chenle to go. "Chenle, do you know why you're here?" Jisung asked calmly, trying really hard not to let go of his tears. He wanted to make Chenle stay longer, but he will never can. "I don't want to know, all I want is to stay here forever" Chenle answered. He's not interested at all to know how he got there. Jisung sighed. "Chenle, this is just a dream." He explained. "Then I don't want to wake up" Tears started flowing down their cheeks. Jisung didn't want to let go of Chenle and Chenle didn't want to leave. But that can't happen. "Chenle, If you stay here longer, it could harm me, do you want that to happen?" Jisung lied. He doesn't want to but that's all he could do to make Chenle leave. "Why? How would that harm you?" Chenle asked. His tone sounds pissed. At that time, he could feel again how rude the world to him. Everything that can make him happy seems like it's not meant for him. "This is my world and I'm a sleepfairy. People aren't meant to go here and I broke that rule when I brought you here. Sorry, I just wanted you to feel happy. Chenle, no matter how hard your life is, face it with courage. After all your hardships, you will go here. Not exactly on this place but in a place of happiness. Chenle, what you see in your life isn't its whole, there is always more to it. Everything that is happening to you right now, they wouldn't matter after 35 years anymore. Even me, you will forget me. Nothing is permanent Chenle, trust me. Now go back to the real world Chenle, just remember that I'll always be there to watch you when you sleep." On that moment, Chenle felt like he has fallen deeply to Jisung. His words just made him want to stay more with Jisung. But at the same time, he doesn't want to harm the both of them. "Jisung.." "Ssssshhh. Don't say it Chenle, I know what you feel and... I feel the same. Now close your eyes Chenle" Chenle followed Jisung and slowly closed his eyes. Before Chenle had fallen to a deep slumber, Jisung uttered some words. "No matter how happy you are here, you must wake up. This is almost an illusion. This is just a dream. This is not your world. Sleep tight my love and I'll be with you" It was a sweet tragedy for Chenle. Although he knows that It's impossible, he's still hoping every single day that he could step again on the same dreamland where Jisung is. He tried his hardest not to think of Jisung but he knew deep inside that he'll never forget someone who has made him so happy. Jisung, on the other hand, is still there to watch Chenle everytime he sleeps. Fighting his urge to take away Chenle from the mean world and take him to his paradise, and hoping that Chenle would never forget him. They might have seperated by rules and worlds, but they are still together in each other's memory. Their hearts are still connected and so they'll forever be.

{A/N: about the part where in Chenle finds the fruit tasteless, it is because in most cases, we couldn't taste foods or the food tastes weird on our dreams.}
