Mark's POV

Sun's up! But for me, It's a gloomy afternoon. Everytime this kind of mood shows up, I never let go of the chance. It's hot and nobody likes it, I could stroll on my favorite park alone. Without anyone disturbing me, without worrying about bumping into someone, without thinking of anything. It would be just the park and me, I will be with the park, then I'm not alone. I could somewhat forget about loneliness.
Plenty of benches. Some are facing the pond, some are under the trees, some are surrounded with sunflowers, but I chose to rest on the grass. Here it is, the essence of serenity I've always waited for. I was in the midst of being conscious and asleep, but before I could fall to a calm slumber, "Men, never seen someone as crazy as you!" I opened my eyes and frowned inside. "Like who the hell sleeps under the hot sun?!" How dare this stranger to disturb my peaceful time?! I opened my eyes widely and examined him. A stranger for real. A tanned one! He's cute tho. "Handsome right? Hehe" The stranger flashed a cute smile, exposing his small dimple. If it's someone else in my position, they could have been whipped. But it's me, I'm so damm annoyed with this stranger! "Who the hell are you? It's not like we're close man. You see? I'm having my time here peacefully so can you leave me alone?" No, I wasn't rude, I said it with a smile. "Oh hello, annyeong haseyo, da jia hao! full sun haechaniee imnida! Yeah we don't seem to be that close," he then moved closer to me. "Now we're close enough! Yes I see! You're having your time here peacefully but I can't leave you alone. First, because this is a public place and second you are not courteous!" This guy is a madman. I started to walk away but he just kept talking. "You see? You're even facing your back to someone talking to you! And people usually say 'can you please leave me alone?' not 'can you leave me alone'! You're the one being rude but you're the one walking out!" I faced him. To my shock, there isn't any sign of frustration in his face, but instead, he's all out laughing, unlike me. "Bro, I mean, I'm serious right here. I came here to relax not to deal with..." I stopped as I saw a change in his face. "Okay, sorry, God sent me down here since he saw you being lonely but I guess you prefer being that way" My eyes widened with his words. Is he kidding? Of course! But what if he isn't? I mean, no one really comes here during this hour except me. I've been coming here for years but this is the only time someone's here with me. "A-are you kidding?" I asked innocently. He didn't answer me. Instead, he rested his left arm on my shoulder and led me on one of the benches under the trees. It's kinda weird, but I just let him do it. "So you always come here alone. Can you tell the reason?" He said as we sat on the bench. But still, confusion is all over my mind. Who is this guy and why the hell is he talking to me like we're friends? Was he really sent by God to accompany me? "Uhmmm... Nothing. It's just that. You know. It's just that, whenever I come here at this hour, It feels like someone is with me." He let out a small chuckle. "How is that?" He then asked. "Maybe because I'm with the park" He again let out a small chuckle. "What a romanticist" he mumbled. Maybe, I am😂😂😂. "Or maybe because full sun is with you" I looked up at the sun then back to his face. Unlike a while ago, he looks serious this time, but that seemed to be a joke to me. "Do you know the story of the full sun? Of course you don't. When It was a kid, It was so pitiful. The full sun hated being alone, but no one can stay at his side. He always hoped for someone to see him shine brightly, but nobody came" I looked around to make sure this isn't a prank for a hidden camera. Did this weird guy just talked about the childhood of the sun? So God really sent him here? "N-not really, sun is a star and there's a lot of them" I answered, just for me to have something to say "Yeah the full sun, It is surrounded with millions of other stars, but they are far away from it. Nobody cares for it. It's all alone, by itself" He stood up, picked up a stone then played it. "Then one gloomy afternoon, the full sun found this park. In this park he saw you by yourself. Then he told himself, 'It's fine to be alone. That way I could shine by myself, shine bright that I could even brighten up others'. From that day, the full sun became bright and jolly. He stopped hoping for someone to see him shine brighly, he only hoped that he could brighten up everything gloomy" He stood up. "I shall go" he stated and started to walk away. "A-are you going back to heaven? Thanks for accompanying me" I shouted. Although I had to endure annoyance and had to listen doubtfully about sun's childhood, atleast I'm not alone this time. And If he really was sent by God then I must. He faced me with a crazy big laugh. I knew it this is a prank for hidden camera! Now I will look dumb in a random youtube channel and this annoying tanned madman here is a crazy vlogger! "Incase you haven't heard a while ago, hello, annyeong haseyo, da jia hao, full sun haechaniee imnida! You're not just weird! You're also dumb" He said between his laughs. Wait?! Full sun haechaniee imnida? Full sun? So he was talking about himself all the time? Wait?! So that means I'm really not alone when I'm here? Because he is secretly with me? "Bye dumbie Mark-hyung!" Mark-hyung? How did he know me? "W-wait! How did yo------" "I'll tell you next time, I badly have to poop" He shouted back. I too laughed at my dumbness. I then shrugged, that wasn't the point after all. "See you next time" He bid. I guess it's safe to say, finally, I won't be alone anymore, I was never alone after all.
