( a little warning / note: this advice can not be read into - to the point of TOO. because too much of anything can be unhealthy and detrimental to your well-being. this is more guided to the little man inside your brain or the haters creating insecurities out of beauty. as eating disorders can cause one to be "too skinny". that's not healthy, my loves. and vice versa. )
STARTING OFF, THERE IS NO SUCH THING.
there is no such thing as too skinny. there is so such thing as too fat. there is no such thing as truly ugly. and there is no such thing as perfect.
wherever you && your body is at, from developing, a relapse, or moving forward in becoming healthy. listen to yourself, your heart, not the voices and negativity of others. whether you're smaller than the rest or got some extra skin for loving— you are beautiful.
people can shame you for anything, sadly, it seems, many default to your body image. and it's frightfully saddening, truly. we're all unique && it's another aspect to celebrate our differences rather than humiliating each other for having them.
it's so hard to remember that it's what's on the inside that counts. i know. but please, always hold that true to your heart as you carry on in life.
but darling ,, no matter what size you are - how tall , short , skinny , "large," whatever. it doesn't matter. you are forever enveloped in beauty. size of anything is not what makes a difference in this world- you are. don't ever forget that. you have an immense power to change this world for the better, goodness knows it needs it. don't let outer-looks && insecurities take that power away from you.
there is only ONE you in the entire galaxy. ONE you in a world of over 7 billion people. ONE you on this planet. there is only one of you. i think we're forgetting how special and important that is. so do not hurt that you && do not underestimate that you.
everything about you is indigenous to one person- again, that's YOU.
our differences are what makes us beautiful. the girl up there has her own set of insecurities, i promise. that guy over beside you has HIS own set of insecurities. i wish we could stop comparing ourselves to others, for one second, in order to appreciate them.
if there's something about you, that you feel needs to be changed. change it. motivate yourself to make a healthier impact on your body,, you can do it. i promise , it might be hard- it will be hard, but you have that strength within you to conquer whatever you set your mind to. so eat breakfast today. or don't have that dessert. take a break from over-exercising or try and go for a walk. little efforts and steps go a long way for a happier, healthy you.
but please don't hurt yourself in order to obtain what you classify as your "ideal body." it's not worth it. you, however, are worthy of everything. not putting your health && your life at jeopardy. you deserve better and there's always another way. look for it.
because a perfect body does not exist. no matter where you look or who you turn to, it simply doesn't. for in each of our minds there's something that needs to be improved.
and if you're a guy, feeling singled out or forgotten. don't. everything above goes right back to you, as well. insecurities are natural — and i know body standards are more demanding for guys as there seems to only be one acceptable type "lean / muscular" as society portrays it. but that's not true, it's just not. have a six pack or have six brownies- to hell with everybody else. society sucks. you're wonderful, handsome, beAUTIFUL bc guys can be beautiful too , and everything you need to be. ps - the right girls appreciate a good heart over a six pacc (;
today you are beautiful. tomorrow you are beautiful. yesterday you are beautiful.
you are beautiful. look in the mirror and say it until you believe it, because that's where everything starts. you. you. you. you.you are stronger than you know
and im almost guaranteeing you that the cosmetic insecurity you have- is much smaller to those around you.so please, take a breath- realize the power you have to change this world- look around you && appreciate, cherish, and compliment the unique attributes that are truly beautiful in others. it helps more than you'd ever know.
