We had a brother and sister type relationship we were always "fighting" basically poking fun at each other. Best friends since elementary school and we still are, we know everything about each other.
"It's not my fault your short" I say back to dean
"It's not my fault you're tall" He retorts
"We're literally the same height"
"So you're saying I'm tall?"
"No I'm saying you're short"
"No I'm not have you seen jay!" He said laughing
"Okay you win" I say lightly pushing him
Dean is 25 and I am 23, and we still act like kids the way we 'argue', dean has always wanted to be a singer/producer/songwriter etc.. and I said I'd help him write and produce songs like a 'duo' I guess.
"Do you always look annoyed?" He asked laughing
"It's called a resting face" I said sarcastically
"Can you go one day without being sarcastic?"
"Can you go one day without asking questions"
"Well can you go one day without-" his sentence was cut short by my ex calling me,
"Ugh can he go one day without bothering me?" I said annoyed, and before I could comprehend what happened dean picked up the call.
"Hey what are you doing?!" I whisper
"She can't come to the phone right now she's in the shower...oh..okay? please don't call her everyday it's even annoying for me to hear" he said before hanging up and tossing me my phone.
"Thanks, what did he say?"
"He said he wanted to meet up with you" he said rolling his eyes "will you meet him?"
"Maybe, I don't know, want to watch this movie?"
"Yeah" He said
"Oh this is my favorite part- who's knocking on the door this late?" I asked as I turned to dean
"Probably Joo" he answered half heartedly.. I really disliked Joo she broke up with him multiple times going back to her ex and now saying they're "just friends with benefits" basically her ex couldn't even stand her which I understand.
"Be right there" he says
"I'm going-" I say standing up
"Stay" He said and lightly pushing me back into the couch, he walked over to the door and opened it and Joo walked in.
"What is she doing over here at night" she said in a bitchy voice
"Sorry, I didn't know this was your house" I said annoyed
"She just came over to watch a movie with me, don't worry we're just friends anyways" dean said in a chill voice I could tell he was tying to calm us down, but he annoyed me even more I just sat back on the couch and started the movie again.
"Can you turn that down! We're talking!" She said shouting damn this bitch won't shut up will she?
"Nah it's not even up that loud it's only on 20" I said in a unfazed voice. "Aye I'm going to leave I'm tired anyways" I said while grabbing my keys and jacket.
"Stay longer you weren't even here that long" that was true I was only there for a hour..I did miss dean he was just on tour in the UK and he just came back yesterday.. "I'll stop by tomorrow remember we have a song to finish..I don't want to keep Joo waiting on her dick appointment either" I said shutting the door and walking to my car.
Dean tried calling me I didn't notice since I was busy driving I only noticed it when I got home and got comfy "I'd call him back but they're probably- ugh nvm" I said while laying down in my bed reading a book.
*knocking*
"I don't think I ordered pizza" I said confused walking downstairs, "who is it?" I said "just open the damn door" I already knew who it was and opened the door "why'd you stop by? We could've talked tomorrow" I said walking into the kitchen "because..I wanted to talk tonight" he said
"About what? I'm tired please make this fast" I said yawning
"Why don't you like Joo?" He said
"Ugh because to me she's a thottie that just wanted 2 guys at once and broke your heart multiple times..sorry not sorry I can't forgive her"
"Are you sure you're not jealous?" He asked me
I looked at him confused for a second
"Why would I be jealous..were "just friends" right?"
Grabbing a glass of water and taking a sip, he really testing me now isn't he ugh.
"I- you're not just my friend you're almost like my sister" he said trying to calm me down
"You really don't know your way with words do you" I said trying to hide how hurt I was in my voice and faking a laugh "yeah were just friends right?"
I walked back up to my room for some reason he wouldn't leave because "he missed me" so he just sat in my bed and watched me play overwatch "this fuckin thottie killed me again istg I'll get his ass" I said annoyed but not taking my eyes off the screen
The game ended and I turned to dean,
"want to play?"
"Nah I'm good"
I heard knocking again "I swear I didn't order pizza"
I said walking downstairs and dean soon following after me,
"Who is it?"
"...Heesu, can we talk?"
"Yeah come in" Heesu was my ex he wasn't bad or anything it's just he had to move back and forth and tour etc.. I still liked him but I didn't want to go threw all that again. He immediately gave me a hug
"I missed you" He said Lightly kissing me head
"I missed you too...why'd you stop by?"
"...just to see you but I can already tell you have company...does he usually come over this late at night?"
"No we were just up in her bedroom-" dean said until I nudged him in the side,
"Nothing would happen anyways we're like brother and sister..were just friends" I said making Heesu smile.
"I should get going I just wanted to stop by and see your face" Heesu said and gave me a kiss on the cheek making dean roll his eyes.
"Bye" I said waving I shut the door and sat on the couch.
"Do you still like him?" Dean asked in a annoyed tone
"..I'm tired goodnight" I said heading up to my bedroom but dean pulled me back
"Answer me y/n" he said annoyed
"I like another guy, now can I go to bed?" I said annoyed
"Who's damn guy?!" Dean asked very annoyed now
"Ugh it's nobody...night" I said going to my bedroom I sat on my bed and heard my bedroom door open
"just tell me who the guy is and I'll let you sleep"
"Why are you so interested!" I said laying down
"...Joo came over to say we're really done...she went back to-" "told you don't trust her she only keep breaking you" I said softly
"Who the guy?" He said sitting in my bed
"You" I opened my eyes and saw dean towering over me, "Are you serious? Don't be joking with me right now" dean said in my ear making me shiver
"I'm. Not. Joking." I said back he grew closer to my face and said "good because I feel the same" he said rolling on his back and cuddling me.
"I'm staying the night" he said.
