The Backstory of Arthur Enteriea

Childhood

Arthur Enterien was born in Unterea. He was given a good life, loving parents, and hard work. He grew up learning everything he good in the profession his father worked, Blacksmithing. Many travelers came in and out of his father's shop, buying varies goods. From horse shoes to nails, the town they lived in benefitted from Arthur's father's work. A day came buy when a squad came into his shop, looking for an improvement of gear. Swords, axes, arrows got sharpened and made in their shop. Arthur was hypnotized by it, enjoying the sight of large men in armor, the small, nibble women dressed in light, leather armor and cloaks. Arthur became attached to the sights. After the squad left, he studied as much as he could on the art of war, build of weapons, and how to use them. He became a book worm the day after the hunters left

Arthur grew up reading, but not fighting. His father never let him step into any training regiments. Arthur became self-taught. He learned quickly, through handling and feel, that he was talented in the war hammer. After learning this, he quickly jury rigged one together. He practiced every second he could. Beating down trees, killing small animals to help with his accuracy with his hammer, and learning the feel of the swing, as well as the impact. He soon became talented with it, and even with little formal training, he had a better than normal feel for his hammer.

Arthur was studying many subjects during his childhood. As well as becoming acquainted with his new found talent, his father taught him in the art of blacksmithing. Swinging a hammer at a hot piece of metal with such speed and accuracy that it could morph and change the hardest metals. He became a natural at it, but not a master. Although he could make basic swords, hammers, and small knives, he could not make more complex weaponry. He crafted his own hammer at a young age, as well as forged basic armor, to protect him from his own hammer and use as a dummy for training. His skills in blacksmithing were not the best, but was good enough for him to get by.

Lastly, he studied philosophy, mathematics, basic sciences and phycology. He learned everything he could, spending long nights reading about anything he could get his hands on. He first studied mathematics, learning basic engineering as well as physics. He learned that a large amount of force applied over a small area is what gave hammers there large amount of damage. He learned quickly that an edge and force applied to an object is what gave swords and knives their cutting power. After physics, he moved to philosophy, asking question after question and never finding answers for them. He took comfort in these questions, the lack of knowledge only furthered him to learn more and more. Phycology was his last quest for knowledge. He studied the art of war, the patterns of humans and preying on their weaknesses. He became a master at manipulation, and he became a quick learner.

All this power came at a large downfall. Arthur became obsessed with learning, taking time in the middle of a battle to try and learn something he didn't know. This put himself and others in the line of harm. He used himself as a lab rat, subjecting himself to hammer swings and sword cuts to further his knowledge of pain and healing. With his philosophical learning, not only did it give him questions, it gave him a lack of answers. This lack of answers made him think, and with thinking, he realized that life was never worth living. He became suicidal,yet, he feared death, and with this fear, he never followed through on his wants to end himself. Inside his mind, it was organized Hell. 

Nearing his mid twenties, Arthur left home, set off on a quest to find knowledge where ever it lie. He packed up his hammer, his armor, a small amount of gold gifted to him from his family, and his small collection of books. As he mounted his horse at the stables, just outside of town, he looked at the dirt road ahead of him, knowing that his could be the start of something, or the end of everything.
