the apartment is perfect. it literally has everything we need. three bedrooms, both with an ensuite attached as well as one of them having a walk in wardrobe. we have one little study that is towards the front of the apartment, which is actually quite small, but that's okay. we made one of the bedrooms into a studio, and we are currently putting the final furniture around the place. after two weeks, we can finally feel like we have 'settled in,' in our new apartment.

"do you want the guitars over this side, or next to the keyboard?" jess chimes, walking into the room with both of our brown, wooden, guitars.

"i think we should put them in that corner so they can stay out of the way" i point towards the corner where the keyboard is, as jess makes her way over there and sets up the guitars on their stands.

"well that took a while but i guess this room is finally done!" i smile and admire the studio we now have in our apartment. it. is. perfect. it looks professional and that was our main goal with this.

"now all we have to do is finally start recording again." jess winks at me, as i groan and strut out of the room flipping my hair onto my shoulder.

i haven't recorded anything for a while, because even though heartbreaks and sad memories tend to help me write the best work, i just haven't been motivated to do so. i've been far too occupied trying to somewhat get my life back on track, and i don't think writing about every inconvenience in my life would be the right thing to do at this point, because then i would need a whole ten albums just to fit it all in.

i never saw those two girls again while we were in san francisco. they had a vibe between them that told you they had a close bond. they were relaxed with each other, and surprisingly relaxed with me and corbyn, even if we had met them in an awkward situation. i snapped back to reality when a certain word caught my attention.

"—pizza—?"

"hmm? what about pizza?" i questioned, turning my head as i looked over the brown, leather, couch to reveal daniel in just his sweats.

"i'm going to order pizza, did you want some?"  he replied, waving his dollar bills in front of me.

"i'll just have some garlic bread, thanks dani."

"sweet, well i'll be back soon, text me if you change your mind or want anything else."

i hummed in reply as i turned back around to face the tv, as zach came over and sat by the couch next to me, taking the remote of the coffee table and changing the channel to a movie that was just starting.

I drifted off in my thoughts once again, thinking about tour and how amazing it was. even though we only just got back 3 days ago, i am still already missing it. i miss the atmosphere that the crowd brings to the stage, the fans that we meet along the way, and the friendships we make at the most random times. but another tour will come around after our album is realised, in a few months, and i cannot wait to go exploring the new parts of america we are yet to go, as well as europe, and the rest of the world.
