Shutterbug (With Vic Fuentes and Niall Horan)

Chapter 3

Im just sitting in my bunk staring at a blank text box.  No matter how many times i try to write something it just seems to get jumbled into one big mess.  I have an idea but im not sure if shelly will approve.  I decide to go with it, a dumb article is better than none.

Artist(s) to Watch: One Direction

The band was put together after all five European boys auditioned individualy for the UK's X-Factor.  After being cut at bootcamp, the boys were brought back and givien the option to comtinue in the competition as a group.  Ending up 3rd in the competition was only the start as they worked their way as #1 in a million girl's hearts.

i sat down with some of the fans to see what one direction meant to them; they all said the same thing: that they were more than a band to them.  That those five boys were like friends to them and they take pride in how much each one has grown over the years.

I feel that the fans can relate to the boys as they are charming and fun to be around. Much like the boys you go to school with.  If i could describe the band in one word i would have to say: Bonded.  For a group of teens who were thrown together on short notice to compete, putting their faith in eachother, watching them is like watching a dance.  Smooth, flowing and in sync.  I'd give these boys a round of applause.

There.  it was done.  my first update of the tour and might i say i think my idea was pretty damn good.  Let's hope Shelly and i are on the same page as this.

 Vegas. The line up is pretty good today, we have All time Low at 2, The ready set at 5 and im gonna cover The Summer set's acoustic set at 6:30.  Sounds like it's going to be a good day. I scan the list over and over again, making sure there isn't a band that i missed.  I keep looking but One direction isn't scheduled to play today.  the news flooded my mind with loads of questions, did they see my article?  Did they like it? what did they think of it?

I shake off the thoughts and continue with what i was doing.  I had another idea late last night: i could film all the bands as they hang out before their sets and when their by the busses and i can call it Live On The Road With Us.  And being as i had four hours until ATL's set, i could get started now.

I headed out of the bus with my camera on.  "Let's see if Vic's awake."  i say into my camera as we proceed down the line of busses.  I had met Vic from pierce the veil a couple times when i started my internship, i diddn't really do interviews with him, more as i was the assistant to the director for their music video.  My job was to keep them entertained inbetween takes so we bonded a little and became friends.

Vic and Tony were outside their bus with their merch guy unloading boxes.  "Well if it isn't my favorite Shutterbug!"  Vic says turning to give me a hug.

"Hey Lenny." Tony says, gasping as he sets a pile of boxes down.

"Whatcha guys doing?"  i say loud enough for the camera to hear.

"Hey hey hey!" Vic says stepping infront of the camera.  "This is official PTV merch business. you can't film this."  he gives a laugh and steps out of view.

"Lennon, you know what you should do?  Just get every single band members on this tour to do their best british accent  and then make a montage of it" Tony says.

"I knew you were good for something!" Vic yells as he jumps on tony to put him in a head lock.  "I'll start.  what should we say?"

we thought for a moment when Mike ran out of the bus screaming.  "Vic! you ate my cookie!"both Tony and Vic looked into the camera and said "Vic! you ate my cookie!" in their best British accent.
